Research On The Activation Of Traditional Village Public Space Based On Spatial Syntax

Traditional villages are the precious heritage of the Chinese nation,reflecting regional cultural characteristics,architectural art construction and unique spatial pattern,reflecting the harmonious coexistence of villages and the surrounding natural environment,and at the same time,they are non-renewable.Among them,public space is the key place for villagers’ daily production and life and social communication.It has the role of connecting villagers’ emotions and is also the core embodiment of village vitality.However,with the impact of modernization factors,the public space of traditional villages is gradually faced with decline and vitality loss.Therefore,it is of great significance for the activation and renovation of the public space of traditional villages.In recent years,the protection and development of public space in traditional villages have achieved fruitful results,but most of them focus on perceptual analysis and empirical transformation,and lack of spatial research supported by data.Therefore,this paper takes Suqin Village as the specific research object,discusses the laws and existing problems behind the spatial development by introducing space syntax theory and analytical means,proposes corresponding spatial activation strategies,conducts practice research on spatial activation design,and makes use of syntactic analysis for comparison and improvement.This paper takes Suqin Village,a traditional village in Sanmenxia City,as the research object.Firstly,with the national protection and utilization of traditional villages,the realistic dilemma of public space activation and the application of space syntax as the research background,this paper reviews the research status of village public space and space syntax at home and abroad,and then defines the relevant concepts and vitality influencing factors of village public space.The practical cases and research cases about space syntax are analyzed to provide ideas for the activation practice research of public space in Suqin Village in the future.Secondly,through field investigation and data collection,this paper analyzed the status quo of traditional village public space in Sanmenxia area,explained the reasons for choosing Suqin Village as the research object,and then carried out specific status analysis and synsyntax parameter analysis of the public space in Suqin village according to the way of dividing points,lines and surfaces,and summarized the status quo problems of public space under quantitative and qualitative analysis.Finally,based on the analysis of the current situation,the paper puts forward the short-term and long-term development goals and principles of Suqin Village,puts forward the activation design strategy of public space of Suqin village from three aspects of industrial development,overall layout and node optimization,and carries out specific activation design practice research.With the overall spatial layout planning as the core,representative public Spaces of points,lines and surfaces were selected for spatial transformation and vitality optimization respectively,and corresponding syntactic analysis methods were adopted for public Spaces before and after the activation transformation to verify the feasibility of the scheme transformation construction.Based on the research on the activation practice of public space in Suqin Village,Sanmenxia City,this paper discusses the quantitative analysis and research of village public space from the perspective of space syntax,summarizes the activation design strategy of village public space,provides a new perspective for the research on the current situation of the same type of traditional village public space,and also provides certain reference for the practice of the activation design of village public space.
