| Traditional village culture has valuable historical,humanistic,scientific and economic and social values,and the spaces of traditional villages reflect the continuous transformation and reshaping process of their surroundings.Traditional villages include both buildings with local characteristics and public buildings that reflect the humanistic features of village life.Its well able to reflect the humanistic characteristics and spatial vitality of the local area.The layout of the public space of a traditional village is the essence of the development of the traditional village and is the main medium through which the people of the village express their culture to the outside world,and is of selfevident importance.In the process of observing and researching the public space of traditional villages,it can be found that great importance is attached to the preservation of traditional village culture and development,and it is important that we should conduct in-depth research into traditional villages and analyse the current situation of local space to explore its optimisation methods.At present,the transformation and optimisation of public space in traditional villages is still dominated by qualitative research,while quantitative analysis is still relatively little applied to traditional village public space.To this end,the author’s research is focused on traditional villages in the Jinning District of Kunming,and the results of spatial syntactic operations are applied to the design of traditional villages in combination with data analysis to further explore the problems of village public space.This gives countermeasures for the optimal setting of village spatial structures.Based on this,an experimental study on the optimization of village public space is carried out,and the spatial syntax method is applied to compare and improve it.The core idea of the thesis is "problem formulation-problem analysis-problem solving",and the text is divided into three main sections and six chapters.The Introduction and Chapter 2 are the first part of the thesis.The introductory part of the thesis focuses on the historical background of the study and the basics of the relevant research theories,defines the object,methodology and content of the study,and gives an overview of the research on spatial syntax theory and traditional Chinese villages.Chapter 2 is a brief introduction to the relevant theories of spatial syntax,organisation,basic analysis methods and basic variables,as well as a brief introduction to public space forms.The second part is Chapter 2,which is an analysis of the public space of Fuan ancient villages.Through the analysis of the current situation,the existing problems of the public space of Fuan ancient villages can be better analysed.The foundation is laid for further analysis of the problems by applying the theory of spatial syntax.Chapter 3,4 and 5 are the third part.Chapter 3 mainly uses the spatial syntax method to analyse the relationship between the spatial structure of traditional villages and the internal public space,as well as the inner vitality of the vernacular space,starting from the public space form of the whole traditional village.The software Depth Map is used to analyse the current spatial situation of the local area and to find out the current problems of the village,and to analyse the results specifically,providing a theoretical basis for examining the problems faced by the public spatial form of traditional villages.The fourth chapter focuses on the planning and design of the Fuan ancient village from the morphology of the entire public space in conjunction with the results of the spatial syntax analysis.Starting from the morphology of local public space,the optimal design of public space is carried out from three spatial categories: public building space,outdoor transportation public space and outdoor stay public space,and specific optimal design strategies are proposed.Chapter 5 concludes the analysis of the whole text. |
