With the implementation of sustainable development strategy and the proposal of carbon peak carbon neutrality, the use of clean, environmentally friendly, renewable new energy for power generation has gradually become a new trend in the development of China’s electric power industry.New energy power generation enterprises,as the backbone of promoting green low-carbon,energy saving and emission reduction, have received more and more attention.Under the background of energy structure reform,it is the key for new energy power generation enterprises to realize healthy and sustainable development to continuously strengthen financial competitiveness and improve management level. At present, the domestic research on financial competitiveness is not mature, nor has it formed a complete and authoritative evaluation system, and the research on the evaluation of financial competitiveness of new energy power generation enterprises is more lacking. At the same time, new energy power generation enterprises have their own over-dependence on policy subsidies, receivables turnover capacity to improve;Large capital needs, long project cycle, cash flow management ability is tested; The scientific research and innovation ability is still acceptable, and the problem of energy storage consumption still needs to be further solved. These factors affect the improvement of financial competitiveness of enterprises and determine whether enterprises can achieve sustainable development to a certain extent. This paper summarizes and introduces relevant theories by combing domestic and foreign literature on financial competitiveness and sustainable development, and summarizes the characteristics and influencing factors of financial competitiveness according to the characteristics of new energy power generation industry. On this basis, the financial competitiveness evaluation index system is constructed from two levels of generality and industry characteristics based on sustainable development.Among them, the general evaluation index is evaluated from five perspectives: profitability, debt paying ability, asset management ability, growth ability and social responsibility fulfillment ability. The characteristic evaluation index of the industry covers four aspects: ecological environmental contribution ability,R&D and innovation ability, resource advantage and economic independence of operation. The weight of each index is obtained by analytic hierarchy process, and the financial competitiveness of S enterprise from 2018 to 2020 is evaluated by fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. The score of S enterprise in each index level and the final comprehensive score are obtained, and the corresponding evaluation grade is given. This paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of S enterprise in financial competitiveness and puts forward feasible suggestions. From the perspective of sustainable development, new energy power generation enterprises need to integrate economic, social, ecological and other basic elements into the financial competitiveness promotion system, which is an important path to achieve sustainable development of enterprises. In the process of operation, enterprises should not only pay attention to the improvement of profitability, but also pay attention to the integration of economic benefits, social responsibility and ecological protection. At the same time, the development of new energy power generation enterprises is closely related to scientific research and innovation, resource advantages and economic independence of operation. It is necessary to fully consider the influence of various factors on financial competitiveness, effectively improve the financial competitiveness of enterprises in mutual promotion, and realize their own sustainable development.
