Research On The Characteristics Of Traditional Water Culture Landscape In Xixi South Village

Traditional water cultural landscape is a landscape created by human beings through long-term water practices and water activities to transform their environment.It is a comprehensive result of human water utilization,transformation,and management,and an organic combination of natural,cultural,and social systems.Traditional water cultural landscapes are an indispensable component of water culture construction and even water ecological civilization construction,and in-depth research on them is of great significance.This article is based on the concept of traditional water cultural landscape to study the characteristics of traditional water cultural landscape in Xixi South Village.This article takes the traditional water cultural landscape of Xixinan Village as the research object,and discusses the landscape types,constituent elements,landscape characteristics,and contemporary values of Xixinan Village’s water cultural landscape.First of all,it elaborates the physical geography,landform,hydrology,water conservancy facilities,history and humanity of Xixinan Village,laying the foundation for further revealing the characteristics of its traditional water culture landscape.Secondly,by reviewing relevant materials and conducting on-site research,the water cultural landscape can be summarized into three types: river water cultural landscape,gathering water cultural landscape,and farmland water cultural landscape,and detailed explanations will be provided;Next,the constituent elements of water cultural landscapes distributed within the village,such as water reservoirs,ponds,channels,and wells,are divided into water storage,water diversion,water control and disaster prevention,irrigation and drinking,and settlement construction.They are described in detail through charts and charts combined with historical materials and current situations.Furthermore,the characteristics of water cultural landscapes are discussed from three aspects: overall pattern characteristics,overall structural characteristics,and public space characteristics.The environmental structure,spatial types,and structural levels of water cultural landscapes are analyzed and demonstrated through charts.Summarize the overall structure of the traditional water culture landscape in Xixi South Village,in the interactive and integrated relationship between water and the village,forming a coordinated organizational order of connecting villages and fields with farmland water conservancy and settlement water conservancy,and a street and alley structure that conforms to the water system.The water culture landscape of the entire village reflects natural,free,and asymmetric characteristics.At the same time,the public space of the traditional water culture landscape in Xixi South Village directly affects the social life of local villagers,reflecting the integration of the village’s water system conditions and living environment,forming various functional spaces for communication,exchange,gathering,and other activities with the "water mouth as the core",as well as street and alley communication spaces with the "water channel as the pulse".Finally,based on theoretical analysis,cultural and tourism integration development,and water ecological civilization construction.The traditional water cultural landscape of Xixi South Village plays a very important role in improving the village’s environment,enriching its functions,and coordinating regional water resources.This study accurately summarizes the construction characteristics and contemporary value of traditional Zhuluoshuikou forests in Huizhou,hoping to provide reference for public space greening construction.Figure [13] Table [9] reference [71]...
