With the rapid development of social and economic modernization,cranes have an irreplaceable position in the fields of industrial production,infrastructure construction and so on.The crane metal structure is the mechanical framework of the crane,which can not only bear its own weight,but also transfer the load of the crane,accounting for about 80% of the total weight of the crane.For the crane metal structure,the traditional design method is backward,and the high safety factor is often used,resulting in the large overall size and weight of the crane structure.If it can not only lighten the weight of the crane,but also ensure the structure of the crane from the aspects of strength,stiffness and stability,it can not only save the manufacturing cost,but also facilitate the transportation and installation of the crane.Therefore,it is of great significance to reduce the weight of the crane under the condition of ensuring various performance.Taking the metal structure lightweight of double beam U-shaped gantry crane as the main research goal,this paper applies the imperial competition algorithm to optimize the metal structure of U-shaped gantry crane,and develops the "metal structure optimization design of U-shaped gantry crane" software with C + + programming language and visual studio 2019 development platform.The main research work of this paper is as below:(1)Taking the metal structure of U-shaped gantry crane with lifting capacity of 50 t,span of 30 m and rigid and flexible outrigger as the design object,the allowable stress theory is used to accomplish the design and compute of the structure,and the structural performance is verification.By checking the structural calculation,the design requirements are met,which establish a theoretical basis for the imperial competition algorithm optimization design of the metal structure of U-shaped gantry crane in the next step.(2)This paper studies the performance and characteristics of the imperial competition algorithm,completes the imperial competition optimization algorithm program based on C + + programming language,constructs the mathematical model of the optimal design of the metal structure of the U-shaped gantry crane,and completes the design and optimization of the metal structure of the U-shaped gantry crane based on the program.The calculation results show that the metal structure reduces the weight to a certain extent,achieves the purpose of lightweight,and the program runs steadily,The calculation efficiency is high,which can be used as an effective method to solve the optimization of crane structure design.(3)Based on the visual studio 2019 software development platform,using C + + language and MFC basic class library,the software is developed on the basis of the metal structure design of U-shaped gantry crane and combined with the imperial competition algorithm,and the "metal structure optimization design of U-shaped gantry crane" software is compiled and verified by comparing with the actual engineering example,On the basis of meeting all constraints,the weight of the metal structure optimized by the design optimization software compiled in this paper is 34.15% less than the original design scheme.The software has friendly interface and high efficiency.It can assist engineering designers to complete the design,calculation and optimization of the structure of U-shaped gantry crane,reduce the labor intensity of designers,and realize the rapidity,automation and optimization of design.
