With the rapid development of economy in twenty-first Century,the application of hoisting machinery has been widely used in various fields of mechanical engineering.On the one hand,it makes the machinery industry competition is fierce;on the other hand,customer requirements for cranes are also getting higher and higher.In order to meet the demand,it is necessary to develop a CAD/CAE software system which can improve the efficiency of crane design and analysis,which makes the system,can solve some disadvantages in traditional design methods,such as the design cycle is long,the workload is heavy,and the quality is not uniform.In this paper,based on generalized modular,using C# advanced programming language to integrate the software system of gantry crane CAD/CAE developed a set of convenient fast and accurate and reliable software design system of gantry crane.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Through the analysis of the current situation and development trend of the gantry crane and the characteristics of the metal structure of the gantry crane,this paper puts forward the general plan and technical process.(2)Using two modern design methods of allowable stress method and the limit state method,the theoretical design calculation and check of the metal structure of the U gantry crane are carried out,and compared with the results of the two methods.(3)Using C# language for secondary development of SolidWorks to create function library.By means of the function call,the dimension driven and model driven technology is used to realize the parametric modeling of the 3D model and the 2D engineering drawing of the gantry crane.(4)Using APDL language to realize parametric modeling of U gantry crane,and through the communication process makes ANSYS software integrated into the C# language,realize the parametric automatic modeling and analysis of U gantry crane.(5)According to the above research contents,through the integration of the software system,developed a set of CAD/CAE software design system of gantry crane based on C# language and generalized modularization,through engineering examples of this paper can be seen,the software design system can greatly improve the efficiency of design calculation and analysis,and can meet the expected requirements.
