In this paper,the analytical model of three different forms of the separated low yield point steel wall structure is established using ABAQUS finite element software and finite element numerical simulation,seismic response and structural damage of the structure are discussed.The main elements are as follows:(1)The dynamic characteristics of the structure were analyzed computationally,and the influence of the separated low yield point steel plate wall on the self-vibrating characteristics of the structure was explored,and the calculations showed that the separated low yield point steel plate wall can improve the stiffness of the structure and reduce the period of the structure.(2)A nonlinear seismic response analysis of the structures was conducted to study the horizontal displacement,interlayer displacement angle,interlayer shear and stress cloud diagrams of each structure under the action of El-Centro waves,Taft waves and artificial waves,and to compare the effects of different forms of detached low yield point steel plate walls on the steel frame structure.The calculation results show that the three different forms of separated low yield point steel plate walls can effectively reduce the maximum horizontal displacement and the maximum interlayer displacement angle of the steel-frame structure,and the maximum horizontal displacement and the maximum interlayer displacement angle of the steel-frame structure are significantly damping control effect,and the average damping rate can reach 40%to 60%.(3)Damage analysis of three different forms of detached low yield point steel wall structures was carried out,and the damage development process,node damage and floor damage of each structure under the El-Centro Pohan earthquake were discussed.The calculation results show that the separated low yield point steel wall structure can achieve graded damage,has a better yield sequence and reasonable damage destruction mechanism.Separate low yield point plate walls absorb a large amount of energy under seismic action,effectively mitigating and delaying structural damage.
