The power grid,the only infrastructure that realizes the large-scale and controllable electric energy transmission and distribution with present technologies,plays a significant role in the development of the national economy.Since transmission lines are widely distributed in relatively harsh environments,the components of lines and towers are vulnerable to corrosion,wear,and self-explosion.Therefore,the transmission line inspection becomes a fundamental work to ensure the reliable operation of the power grid.Confronted with problems of wide operation range,high operation cost,great operation difficulty,and noticeable natural constraints,the transmission line inspection requires an optimized scheduling scheme.Particularly,with the continuous development and maturity of new technologies,for example,the UAV patrol for the transmission line inspection,these practical problems request an urgent study and solution.This paper conducts in-depth research on how to optimize the scheduling scheme for the transmission line inspection of H company.To begin with,via analyzing the current management status of inspection scheduling of H company,the general information of the transmission line inspection,the current condition of operation equipment,and the main operation flows are sorted out;and via evaluating the challenges in the transmission line inspection of the company,the existing main problems are addressed.Then,“the optimized UAV patrol model based on target node distribution” and “the optimized mathematical model based on UAV and vehicle cooperative patrol” are established respectively,the example analysis is carried out on the basis.In the optimized UAV patrol mode,based on the target node,determine the optimal patrol task node,the best patrol path and quantity of UAV patrol;according to the situation of task nodes,the optimized mathematical model arranges the docking points and the cooperative mode between UAV and vehicle,and test each duration for the inspection of test datasets from different scales and distributions,the test results validate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.The experiment proves that mathematical models have a good calculation efficiency and can produce a satisfying UAV patrol scheme.Based on the above research,practical exploration and effectiveness analysis are conducted to further investigate the solution for path planning of the tower inspection by UAV and vehicle cooperatively,design the scheduling scheme for the transmission line inspection of H company,complete experiments and evaluations on the effectiveness of solution from multiple angles.The research argues that different functions and characteristics of mobile airfield patrol,fixed airfield patrol,and manual/autonomous patrol should be distinguished,and the cooperative operation system should be established,both relied on the UAV patrol comprehensive operation platform based on digital information technology.Through the construction of UAV patrol for overhead transmission line system,the transmission line inspection mode will be altered to realize “two increases and two decreases”-increasing the quality and efficiency of inspection,while decreasing operation risk and labor cost.
