The transmission line is mainly composed of transmission tower,ground wire and related power fittings.When the tension clamp has defects in the crimping process,the anchoring effect on the wire is reduced,which is easy to cause various line faults and affect the normal operation of the line.For this reason,this paper takes NY-400/35 compression type tension clamp,pre-twisted and wedge-shaped backup clamp as the research object,and uses the method of combining grip force test and finite element simulation analysis to study the crimping of tension clamp.The main research results of the influence of process parameters on the quality of crimping are as follows:(1)Using the method of the grip strength test of the tension clamp,the influence of the changes of the parameters such as the edge distance,the inner diameter of the aluminum tube,the length of the pipe,and the crimping method on the crimping quality of the tension clamp was analyzed.It is found that when the inner diameter of the aluminum tube is 36 mm,the gripping force of the wire clip is significantly reduced,and when the penetration depth of the tube is 50 mm,the gripping force of the wire clip is significantly reduced.(2)During the grip strength test of the tension clamp,it was found that there are five failure modes in the wire crimping structure of the tension clamp,namely slippage at the exit of the clamp,broken strand at the exit of the clamp,and non-compression of the aluminum tube.The fracture after necking,the breakage of the wire at the outlet of the clip and the pull-out of the steel anchor,and combined with the residual stress state during the crimping process,the failure law of the crimping of the tensile clip is proposed.(3)The pre-twisted and wedge-shaped backup clamp specimens were made,and the grip strength test was carried out.It was found that the grip strength of the wedgeshaped backup clamp was above 110% RTS,while the pre-twisted backup clamp was unqualified,so the bearing capacity of the wedge-shaped backup clamp is better than that of the pre-twisted backup clamp.(4)Establish the finite element simulation analysis model of NY-400/35 tension clamp crimping,calculate the deformation and stress of the model,and find that the final failure mode of the finite element model is the steel anchor coming out.
