| The strategy of "rural revitalization" was formally put forward in the report of the 19 th National Congress, and rural construction has received the attention of all sectors of society. As mentioned in the 20 National Congress Report, the most arduous task is still in the countryside."Rural revitalization" and "design to the countryside" have become the main focus of rural construction. In response to the central call of rural revitalization, traditional villages try to activate the development and rebirth of the countryside by means of functional restructuring, transformation and spatial reconstruction, and activate the rural benefit compensation mechanism from the level of architectural transformation,so as to build a beautiful countryside with regional characteristics and human history. In the process of urbanization, the resources of intercity rural areas are further compressed, and the uneven distribution of resources such as the "hollowing out" of rural population and the slow development of rural economy become increasingly prominent.A number of idle traditional residential buildings in rural areas are in urgent need of renewal and utilization, and the disposal of such idle buildings has become an important branch of rural construction. However, the simple renewal and restoration of traditional rural dwellings cannot solve the endogenous problem of idle buildings. Therefore, this paper focuses on how to adapt the use of traditional dwellings to the villagers’ demands for modern rural life and production and the future development direction of the countryside through renewal and reconstruction. In this paper, idle traditional dwellings in rural areas of northeast Guizhou are selected as the research object. After field investigation, data collection and analysis, problems in the relationship between building material level and building and non-material level are put forward. In view of the above problems, this paper introduces the systematic thought of "adaptability" and combines it with the design method of rural building reconstruction, puts forward the design principles and specific strategies of rural building adaptation to new conditions, and finally applies the ideas, principles and strategies of adaptability to the traditional residential renovation and design activities of block 1-1 of Jingwan Group in Guojia village for practical demonstration. The thesis consists of six chapters: The first chapter firstly elaborates the research background, purpose and significance of the paper, determines the research content and describes the related concepts involved, and finally summarizes the research status at home and abroad and establishes the framework of the research content. The second chapter describes the basic situation of northeast Guizhou and the investigation of the status quo of idle traditional folk houses in local villages, and puts forward the problems faced at the architectural level. Then, according to the macro policy background, middle rural background and micro local environment, the value of the construction of idle traditional residential buildings, the possible influencing factors and feasibility of the reconstruction are analyzed. The third chapter discusses the theory of adaptability and its application level and connotation in the field of architecture. At the same time,it sorts out the origin and development of the theory of architectural adaptability. Finally,by translating the theory of architectural adaptability design,it presents the theoretical guidance of the adaptive renovation design of rural traditional residential buildings. In Chapter four,in view of the problems faced by this kind of traditional dwellings, combined with the relationship between the material and intangible environmental background of the buildings, the principles of integrity, culture, economy and times that should be followed by the adaptive transformation are clearly defined, and then the adaptive transformation design strategies of rural traditional dwellings are proposed from four aspects: public building functions, space universality, timely components and courtyard space reconstruction. The fifth chapter, through the application of adaptive reconstruction design strategy for the unused traditional residential buildings of Jingwan Group 1-1 block in Guojiawan village, demonstrates and supports the methodology of reconstruction design for the unused traditional residential buildings in rural areas. The sixth chapter summarizes the research results of the article, and puts forward the shortcomings and prospects for the adaptive transformation of rural idle traditional residential buildings. |
