| In the past,due to the rapid development of cities,a series of problems such as the deterioration of water quality and the disappearance of aquatic organisms occurred in urban rivers.At the same time,the artificial and homogenization of riverside landscape has weakened the relationship between people and rivers.In recent years,with the continuous improvement of people’s requirements for the quality of life,the construction of riverside space,as a valuable natural public space in the city,has also received more and more attention.It is undoubtedly necessary to explore how to create a more attractive and attractive riverside space.In order to strengthen the connection between people and rivers and improve the vitality of urban riverside space,this paper studies how to improve the vitality of urban riverside space by using the methods of literature research,case analysis,field investigation and observation and case demonstration,combined with the knowledge of environmental psychology,hydraulic engineering,ecology and other disciplines.The research results are as follows:(1)Through the relevant literature research and typical case analysis,combined with the relevant theories of environmental psychology,this paper puts forward five design principles to improve the vitality of urban riverside space: accessibility,hydrophilicity,ecology,comfort and novelty.Hydrophilicity refers to building a riverside landscape that meets the five senses of hydrophilicity and avoiding homogenization design with other types of sites.Ecology refers to providing high perspective water quality and restoring aquatic animal habitat for hydrophilic activities,but it can not cover the line of sight,affect accessibility and make the site chaotic.(2)From the perspective of promoting the occurrence of various hydrophilic activities,combined with the knowledge of hydraulic engineering,ecology and other disciplines,this paper puts forward the construction methods for the internal accessibility,site scale,slope,revetment,floodplain,water quality,water depth and velocity,riverbed bottom material and other material conditions in urban riverside space.(3)This paper investigates the riverside environmental composition and hydrophilic utilization of the section from Xiangfu East Road to Liuyang River intersection of Guitang River in Changsha,that is,the main urban section,and divides it into six sections according to its different environmental characteristics.It is found that there are some problems in the site,such as high water turbidity,weak River fluidity,impact of floodplain wild plants on accessibility and line of sight,and too large bank revetment slope to form activities,so as to provide data and material support for later reconstruction.(4)Taking the main urban section of Guitang River in Changsha as an example,based on the full investigation of the site,the specific design is carried out for the advantages and problems existing in different sections.Combined with the design principles and construction methods proposed above,the vitality of the site is improved and transformed from the aspects of restoring the fluidity of water body,reducing the concentration of suspended particulate matter in water body,constructing aquatic habitat,constructing comfortable land activity place,constructing safe shallow water area.This paper aims to enrich the ideas and methods of riverside landscape reconstruction in Changsha,and provide relevant suggestions for the future research of riverside landscape in Guitang city. |
