As a key component to transmit locomotive traction power,the assembly quality of locomotive axle driven gear directly affects the service life of axle and driven gear,thus affecting the driving safety of locomotive.At present,the fitting type of assembled axle and driven gear is mainly interference fitting,and the assembly is carried out by pressing.It is found that there is a certain increase in the inner hole of the driven gear when the driven gear is removed from the axle during the overhaul of the locomotive.The secondary processing of the mating surface of the driven gear and the axle is needed when the locomotive is reloading,which makes the overhaul process more complicated.At present,there is little research on the pressing process of axle driven gear in China.In this paper,aiming at the deformation caused by the pressing of driven gear in the overhaul process and the replacement of axles,the simulation of the pressing process of locomotive axle and driven gear and the optimization of the fitting surface modification process are carried out.The main research work is as follows :(1)Research on safety interference of axle driven gear pressing.The cone interference fit of axle driven gear is analyzed and calculated.According to the minimum pressure of effective combination between shaft-tooth fit surfaces and the maximum pressure of critical plastic deformation,the appropriate interference range of the pressing process is determined.(2)The finite element simulation and analysis of pressing process.The simulation model of the pressing process is established,and the elastic and elastic-plastic finite element analysis of the pressing process of the axle driven gear is carried out.The simulation results are compared with the deformation data of the actual pressing.The finite element analysis of different interference conditions is carried out to analyze the main causes of deformation in the pressing process and determine the optimal interference amount in the pressing process.(3)Research on logarithmic modification of axle driven gear mating surface bus.In view of the plastic deformation of driven gear in the pressing process,the logarithmic modification technology is used to modify the matching surface bus.After modification,the deformation in the pressing process is significantly improved.The determined interference amount and fitting surface modification have certain theoretical guiding significance for improving the pressing quality of locomotive axle and driven gear and optimizing the overhaul process.
