The locomotive converter cabinet is mainly responsible for the electric energy conversion and speed control of the electric locomotive.The working current of this part is large and the temperature is high.The abnormal working state of the equipment may lead to electrical fire and cause hidden danger of driving safety.The internal space of the locomotive transformer cabinet is narrow,the working environment is complex,and the electrical equipment has the basic protection structure,which cannot be directly monitored,so there is no more reliable real-time monitoring means at present.Based on a large number of literature,this paper designs a state monitoring system based on infrared thermal imaging by monitoring the electrical terminals that can effectively feedback the state of electrical equipment.The following work and research are carried out in this paper:First of all,in this paper,the converter cabinet of the locomotive in real time monitoring and introduces the background and significance,on this basis,details the locomotive converter cabinet status monitoring method,temperature measurement technology and image fusion of development status and the related research both at home and abroad,and through the analysis of system requirements and functions,determine based on infrared technology,wireless technology and design of image processing technology,The overall function of the system is designed,and the related theories are explained.Secondly,the image fusion algorithm of infrared image and visible image is studied and analyzed in this paper.Calibration,distortion correction and registration algorithm are tested by using the infrared image of square target collected,and the fusion algorithm is studied and tested by using TNO image set.Thirdly,in the design of the acquisition module,the whole Chi S3 chip,OV5640 visible light module,Xmodule infrared module,XR819 chip and other components are used to design the hardware related schematic diagram and PCB diagram by PADS software,and the mechanical structure and the embedded program of acquisition and transmission are designed.In the aspect of communication,the wireless relay equipment and communication protocol are selected to meet the requirements.In the upper computer software design,in Visual Studio platform using C++ language and MFC class library,OpenCV class library,MySQL class library and other libraries to complete the display interface and data recording interface and real-time display,overtemperature alarm,record storage and view functions.Finally,the network transmission function and temperature monitoring accuracy were tested in laboratory environment and vehicle environment respectively to verify the feasibility of hardware and software design of each part of the system.The results show that the system meets the design requirements of the project and can realize real-time monitoring of the state of electrical terminals inside the converter cabinet.
