Research On Rehabilitation Landscape Design Of Children’s Hospital Based On Biophilic Concept

With the rapid acceleration of urbanization,it cannot be ignored that children are far away from nature.The childrens physical and mental health problems caused by this gradually become the focus of social attention.The health of children is particularly important for both the family and the country.This makes people put forward higher requirements for the protection of children’s health and safety in children’s hospitals,and the focus gradually shifts from the construction of hardware facilities to the design and development of highstandard and high-demand treatment environment.In addition to excellent medical facilities,children’s hospitals should also strengthen the internal rehabilitation function of children’s medical landscape environment to meet the needs of specific groups.And improve the speed and quality of recovery of sick children.However,at present,most of the outdoor landscape environment of children’s hospitals in China does not have the effect of rehabilitation and healing,and most of the internal landscape is old and no different from the general landscape,which does not play the role of rehabilitation of the landscape.Analyzing the prominent problems of the traditional children’s hospital outdoor landscape environment and renovating and upgrading its design has become a prominent problem that needs to be solved in the landscape industry nowadays.This paper tries to update the outdoor landscape environment of children’s hospital from the perspective of biophilia,and improve the healing function of the landscape of children’s hospital,thereby responding to the above-mentioned problem of children’s hospital landscapes that have not yet achieved healing benefits.This paper proposes to apply the concept of biophilic design to solve the problem of outdoor rehabilitation landscape design for children’s hospitals.And the application of biophilc design method in rehabilitation landscape design provides a new idea for the design of rehabilitation landscape in children’s hospital.Firstly,the author defined and dividied the concepts of rehabilitation landscape,biophilic design and children’s hospital,the relationship between the three is clarified.Then,relevant domestic and international biophilic design cases were compiled and analyzed to provide theoretical guidance for the next practical research.Secondly,a detailed field survey was carried out on Xi ’an Children’s Hospital,and users’ preferences and needs were analyzed through three methods,questionnaire survey,behavior annotation and behavior tracking.The purpose was to summarize the design method suitable for Xi ’an Children’s Hospital through data analysis and provided basis for the following design.Finally,a biophilic design strategy suitable for children’s hospitals was summarized and applied to the outdoor landscape design and renovation of Xi’an Children’s Hospital to verify it.The results indicated that the biophilc design-oriented rehabilitation landscape design of children’s hospital in this paper can provide referential ideas and specific operation modes for creating a humanized treatment atmosphere in the current children’s medical environment.Meanwhile,it also further expands the application range and design method of "biophilc design" and contributes to the development of outdoor rehabilitation medical environment of children’s hospital,and,finally hopes to provide reference for other children’s hospital rehabilitation landscape design.
