| With the increasing demand of iron and steel industries for the construction of slag production lines,company T strives to promote constructions of the slag production line EPC project for adapting to market competition.However,due to the negligence of management,multiple projects were delayed,which had negative impacts to the company.Project schedule management has always been an urgent problem for company T to solve.Faced with the business development predicament,this thesis applied the critical path method and critical chain technology to study the progress control of the slag production line EPC project.This thesis combine with the research status of domestic and foreign project schedule management,and on the basis of traditional project schedule management theories,analyze the current EPC project management situation of company T,summarize problems and causes,and draw out improved control over project schedules through network plan and critical chain technology.First,taking the construction part of the EPC project as the research object,break its work content by WBS decomposition,rearrange the construction sequence of sub-tasks and balance resource conflicts to finally find out critical chain.Next,re-estimate the project duration reasonably by using the three-hour estimation method,and calculated project buffer and feeding buffer by using the comprehensive evaluation method of the buffer zone.Add the buffer to the critical chain to get the critical chain construction time which has been set the buffer,and complete the optimization of the EPC project construction schedule.In order to further ensure the effective progress of the project schedule,set up dynamic monitoring matrix for buffer usage,adjust the early warning criteria of the buffer zone constantly according to the project progress.Simultaneously,build the project progress control system,set up the project monitoring and early warning guarantee mechanism to realize closed-loop management of progress control.At last,the schedule management model is applied to the slag production line EPC project by company T,which has verified the operability and effectiveness of the model.The use of critical chain technology shortens the project duration,at the same time,it also provides a certain application reference for other enterprises to contract the slag production line projects. |
