| With the rapid development of new energy technology,the number of grid connected systems and switching control frequency are also increasing.This makes the operation state of the power grid more complex.Therefore,there is an urgent need for a small step real-time simulator to monitor the operation of power grid.The real-time simulator carries the numerical model of the real power grid.The numerical model is usually composed of switching converters with different structures.The numerical model of ideal switching element is often nonlinear,which makes the calculation of power grid state complex.It is difficult to take into account the real-time and accuracy requirements of simulation.The associated discrete circuit(ADC)modeling method solves the solution of nonlinear lumped parameters and the uniqueness of coefficient matrix.It is very suitable for hardware real-time simulation design.Based on the existing computing architecture,field programmable gate array(FPGA)has the characteristics of high concurrency and multi pipeline computing,which ensures the small step demand of real-time simulation model.Therefore,the real-time simulation model of hardware structure design based on FPGA is the focus of this paper.Firstly,this paper introduces the ADC modeling method and puts forward the improved ADC modeling method used in photovoltaic power generation system.According to the detailed analysis of each electrical circuit,the mathematical model of improved ADC method is established.Secondly,the real model is built in Simulink,and the performance verification of the improved ADC model is completed in different verification environments.Then,this paper introduces the high-level synthesis development process of FPGA,and proposes relevant optimization methods for the real-time simulation algorithm.Finally,the hardware verification is completed on Xilinx 7 Series FPGA chip.The real-time performance of the simulation model is verified by the measured electrical signal output from digital to analog converter(DAC).At the same time,Ethernet is used to transmit the real-time simulation results,which is convenient for the accuracy verification of the model.The final test results are consistent with the experimental simulation results,which proves the feasibility of the hardware implementation of the improved ADC modeling method designed in this paper. |
