| The use of wood in architecture has a long history in the world’s architectural history, and it has a lot of potential for the development due to its own characteristics and renewable properties. On the one hand, from the aspect of material performance itself, wood interface architecture is widely used in indoor architectural space environment due to its beautiful texture, good touch feeling and unique smell. On the other hand, with the increasing demand for indoor space environment quality and the increasing focus on indoor environment perception, the sensory environment of the wooden internal surface has a vital significance as a friendly bridge between human and space. The purpose of this project is to study the rich perceptual experiences provided by the sensory environment of the wooden internal surface and the effects of these experiences on human physiology and psychology,to explore the patterns, and to optimize and supplement the existing design methods of the sensory environment of the wooden internal surface, and to build interior environment design strategies based on vision, touch and smell. This study promotes the improvement of the design quality and contributes to producing a high-quality spatial environment that better meets the needs of human perception. The paper is divided into six chapters:Chapter 1 introduces the background of the study, clarifies the research object, elucidates the significance of the study, analyzes the current studies of the the sensory environment of the wooden internal surface at home and abroad, and proposes the research content, methodology and research framework.Chapter 2 describes the theoretical basis of the sensory environment of the wooden internal surface, including theories related to human perception, the behavior of the built environment and the perceptual experimental methods. The theory of human perception includes architectural phenomenology and so on.The perceptual experimental methods include S-O-R model and Likert constant scale.Chapter 3 introduces the experimental environment related to visual, tactile, and olfactory perception tests, and describes the six experiment-related contents and experimental procedures.Data analysis methods such as K-S test, independent samples t-test and two-factor ANOVA are used to analyze the characteristics of visual, tactile and olfactory perceptions and the influence of gender factors.Chapter 4 analyzes and refines the characteristics of the sensory environment of the wooden internal surface and their influence mechanism on human body based on the existing theories, cases and various experimental results.Chapter 5 proposes the design strategies and methods for the sensory environment of the wooden internal surface, and applies them to the design practices.Chapter 6 summarizes the research content, summarizes the innovative points of the research, and presents the limitations and shortcomings of this research on the basis of reviewing the process of this research. This paper systematically investigates the perceived the sensory environment of the wooden internal surface from three human perceptions, with a view to contributing to the study of the sensory environment and the improvement of indoor environment quality. |
