Design Strategy And Practice Of Public Space Renewal In Luotian Ancient Town,Chongqing

The scattered historical and cultural villages and towns are scattered on the vast and ancient land of Bayu.After hundreds of years of sun and rain,it is not only the fresh carrier of the historical context,but also the epitome of the magnificent regional culture.Luotian ancient town,as a treasure,is praised as a famous historical and cultural town by the country.The public space of the ancient town is the most comprehensive and multilevel,showing the traditional style and value features of the ancient town,which not only shows the original production and life style,but also contains the connotation of regional culture.However,at present,with the continuous advancement of urbanization scale and the urgent need for modernization,leading to changes in economic environment and lifestyle and other factors,the public space of Luotian ancient Town is facing the impact of the cumulative social environment changes,resulting in the decline of its spatial vitality,the rupture of historical context and the passage of regional culture.If we pay no attention to it.Therefore,how to protect,inherit and develop regional culture and meet the needs of ancient town residents for the modernization of public space has become an urgent problem for us to solve at present.This topic selection under the background of urbanization,modernization and commercial town context and living environment deterioration,luotian town public space this important material space as a research object,by further explore the historical development and regional characteristics,mining public space and regional culture,analyze the status of place,based on optimizing the living environment,regional culture and meet the public demand,the town public space feasibility update design strategy,and using update design practice,to explore the renewal of ancient town public space.The topic is divided into six chapters:In the first chapter,the corresponding research background,research purpose,significance and research content are expounded respectively,and the relevant research at home and abroad is combed,so as to establish the research method and research framework.In the second chapter,the relevant concepts of public space and regional culture of ancient towns are defined,and then the practice cases of renewal design of traditional villages and towns are analyzed to obtain relevant updated design theories,so the renewal design principles of public space in Luotian ancient town are obtained.In the third chapter,the history and overview of Luotian ancient town are explored.Then,by summarizing and analyzing the relevant regional culture,taking the traditional architectural culture,immigrant culture and border trade as the core,and the regional cultural expression characteristics are obtained,and combined with people’s production and life style,the public space is divided into five types.Finally,based on in-depth research and field research on the components and layout forms of the public space,the difficulties and causes in the current public space are analyzed,and the direction of the design strategy should be updated below.In the fourth chapter,on the basis of relevant literature and research,the feasibility of the updated design is explored,and proposes the following four updating strategies:the public participation strategy;the symbiotic coordination strategy for the integration of the old and the new,the context continuation strategy for the protection,development and inheritance,and the spatial renewal strategy supported by space composition,to provide corresponding data support and theoretical guidance for the subsequent updated design practice.Chapter 5 updates the chapter of the design practice with the research object area,based on the relevant location analysis,difficulties and causes,and according to the data analysis and theoretical guidance of the update strategy,and the repeated deliberation and elaboration of the project.Chapter 6,by summarizing and stating the problems,analyzing the status situation,summarizing strategies and design practice,so as to further prospect the corresponding research field and reflect on the shortcomings of this topic.
