With the continuous development of China’s automobile manufacturing industry and the national economy,the competition among enterprises in the automobile industry has become increasingly fierce,and a large number of cars have entered the auto after-sales period and maintenance period.Under such a background,more and more automobile enterprises take the parts business as one of the main means of competition,and the auto after-sales spare parts as the key in the parts business,The improvement of its inventory management has become a problem that all automobile enterprises must face in the process of production and operation.M Motor Company is a Sino-foreign joint venture company with a large number of models.Among the models of after-sale spare parts supply,there are both discontinued models and new models.The supply of spare parts has become more complex,and the inventory management has faced new challenges.This paper takes M Auto Company as the research object,carries out the optimization research on its after-sale spare parts inventory management,combs the current situation of its after-sale spare parts inventory management in detail,and conducts research through questionnaires,special interviews and other methods,analyzes the main problems in the current after-sale spare parts inventory management of M Auto Company,and deeply studies the causes of these problems.With the goal of improving the ordering efficiency,improving the spare parts satisfaction rate,improving the turnover rate,and reducing the occupation of inventory funds,the inventory management optimization framework for improving the ordering process,improving the inventory allocation,optimizing the ordering model,and releasing the inventory funds has been developed.The CVA classification method,the joint management inventory method and other methods have been applied to unify the ordering data system,reasonably shorten the ordering cycle,improve the ABC category spare parts classification system,and allocate and transfer the inventory of each region Specific optimization has been carried out in terms of optimizing the ordering model,improving the emergency ordering mechanism,strengthening the application of the supply chain inventory management model,promoting the use of spare parts,and dealing with useless inventory.A series of optimization strategies have been formulated to solve the problems existing in the after-sales spare parts inventory management of M Motor Company to the greatest extent.Taking M Auto Company as an example,this paper innovatively uses CVA classification as an auxiliary tool of ABC classification,and fully combines VMI,CMI and JMI to systematically and comprehensively optimize and improve the after-sales spare parts inventory management of M Auto Company,hoping to provide effective reference and reference for the after-sales spare parts inventory management of automobile industry.
