Historical Layered Analysis Of Scenic Spots In Yuelu Mountain View Area Based On Historical Texts

The preservation of historical cultural contexts is a crucial component of cultural development in China.The protection of cultural landscapes holds significant practical significance.Yuelu Mountain,located in Changsha,the core city of Hunan Province,is a prominent scenic resource area.Its cultural landscapes are essential elements for the study of the Hunan-Xiang culture.This study aims to analyze the historical development and patterns of attractions and provide a basis for the future protection and restoration of the cultural landscapes in the Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area,ensuring the continuation and revitalization of its cultural heritage.The main research object of this paper was the Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area.Historical texts and spatial geographic information of scenic spots were selected as the basic data.The methods of literature analysis,field investigation,spatial analysis,and historical evolution were employed to analyze the historical layers patterns of scenic spots.The influencing factors were explored,and effective strategies for the protection of cultural landscapes were proposed.The main results of the study are as follows:(1)In the course of cultural landscape change,the influence of natural substrate is fundamental,while socio-political-economic and cultural factors are crucial.Under different periods,the scenic spots in Yuelu Mountain have obvious spatial distribution patterns and stage development characteristics,and the types and numbers of spots are a reflection of the changes in natural and social factors in historical periods.(2)The spatio-temporal pattern of scenic spots in Mount Yuelu is mainly expressed by the spatial aggregation characteristics,temporal continuity characteristics and spatial development characteristics of scenic spots.The spatial aggregation characteristics are analyzed by the nuclear density method:with the continuous development of socio-economic and cultural stages,the aggregation characteristics develop from the initial natural landscape to the formation of the aggregation characteristics with the Lu Shan Temple(Buddhist culture),Yun Lu Gong(Taoist culture)and the Yuelu Academy(academy culture)as the core.Using the extracted information from historical texts to analyze the temporal continuity characteristics:it was found that the temporal continuity of natural landscape category and core cultural attractions was stronger than other cultural attractions.Using standard deviation ellipse to portray spatial development characteristics:although there are differences in ellipse development in different periods,ellipses can be similarly clustered under a certain time step,which provides a basis for stratification stage division.(3)The historical stratification development of scenic spots in Yuelu Mountain is divided into three stages:rapid development stage(Three Kingdoms,Two Jin dynasties,North and South Dynasties-Sui and Tang dynasties),stable development stage(Song and Yuan dynasties-Ming and Qing dynasties)and reconstructed and re-stable stage(modern times-after 1949).The lamination patterns show the characteristics of separated lamination,superimposed lamination,mixed lamination and declining lamination.(4)Combining the analysis of historical stratification patterns and changes in spatial patterns with the analysis of the existing development plan and current development status of Mount Yuelu,we propose strategies for the conservation and development of scenic spots in Mount Yuelu from three aspects:spatial integrity conservation,cultural conservation,and cultural heritage.This study focuses on the cultural landscape of Mount Yuelu,which is closely linked with nature and humanity,and explores the spatial and temporal changes of the cultural landscape during its historical evolution from the characteristics of dynamic evolution,and discusses the influencing factors in the context of the historical background at different stages of accumulation,explores the laws of historical changes and cultural veins of Mount Yuelu,provides an in-depth understanding of the historical,cultural and scenic values of Mount Yuelu,reveals the historical changes of scenic resources of Mount Yuelu The study provides new ideas for the historical and theoretical study of landscape gardening,and provides suggestions for the future conservation planning of the scenic area of Mount Yuelu,which is rich in historical and cultural connotations.
