The research on pavement base materials with high strength and good durability has always been an important topic in the field of road engineering.In response to the problems of low strength and poor durability of traditional cement-lime and crushed stone stabilized low grade highway base soil,a water resistant and self repairing soil stabilizer SRR(Water resistant and Self repairing Soil stabilizer)is added to the cement-lime stabilized soil,which is called composite SRR type solidified soil.This thesis takes the widely distributed red soil in Hunan Province as the research object,and Yueyang red loam soil is selected as the experimental soil.The road performance and application of composite SRR solidified soil were.studied using methods such as indoor experiments,theoretical analysis,and numerical simulation.The main research content is as follows:(1)A study was conducted on the mix proportion of composite SRR solidified soil.Based on the determination and analysis of the basic physical properties of red loam soil,different mix proportions were designed in combination with the requirements of the specifications and domestic engineering applications.The maximum dry density and optimal moisture content of solidified soil in each mix ratio were determined through compaction tests;Through 7d unconfined compressive strength test and combined with the requirements of the specifications,the optimal mix ratio of solidified soil for low grade highway base is determined to be 5%cement+300mL/m3 SRR type curing agent.(2)The strength performance of composite SRR solidified soil was studied.The strength difference between composite SRR solidified soil and cement solidified soil was studied through unconfined compressive strength test,splitting strength test,and compressive resilience modulus test;Explored the influence of dosage and curing period on the strength of solidified soil;A functional relationship was established between the dosage,age,and various strength indicators of solidified soil.(3)The durability performance of composite SRR type solidified soil was explored.Based on water resistance test,self-healing test,dry shrinkage test,and temperature shrinkage test,the durability performance of composite SRR solidified soil and cement solidified soil was compared;The influence of dosage and curing period on the durability of solidified soil were studied.(4)A numerical simulation analysis of composite SRR type solidified soil road base was carried out.Based on the research results of the optimal mix ratio,a numerical calculation model was established to replace cement stabilized crushed stone with solidified soil as the base layer of low-grade highways.The stress and deformation of the road were calculated,and the optimal thickness of solidified soil for the base layer of low-grade highways was determined to be 40cm,which can effectively replace 35cm cement stabilized crushed stone.Combined with the experimental road section,the road construction process and economic benefit analysis of solidified soil were provided.
