Gear system is widely used in automobile,aerospace,shipping and other fields.They are one of the most widely used transmission methods in rotating machinery.The vibration and noise caused by friction excitation of gear tooth surface is one of the important causes of gearbox failure and abnormal noise.The surface texture has an obvious inhibitory effect on friction vibration and noise,which has attracted many scholars’ attention.The vibration characteristics of a gear transmission system under the combined action of multiple sources of excitation,internal and external excitation,are complex and have large vibration amplitudes.At the same time,the increase of friction excitation will further exacerbate the vibration and noise of the gear transmission system,reducing the reliability and stability of the system.In modern society,the requirements for high accuracy,high power,and low vibration noise gear transmission are continuously increasing,and it is urgent to study methods to reduce gear vibration noise.Under certain conditions,the texture of the gear surface can suppress the vibration and noise of the friction contact surface without affecting the gear transmission characteristics.In summary,it is necessary to conduct research on the impact of surface texture morphology on line contact friction vibration noise in order to provide theoretical basis and methods for reducing vibration noise of gear transmission systems due to the complex and large amplitude of vibration in gear transmission systems.In this paper,a dynamic model of gear transmission system considering friction is established,including a time-varying meshing stiffness model and a single stage gear dynamic model,aiming at the study of reducing friction vibration noise by surface texture under the condition of high pair rolling and sliding in line contact;The influence of different surface texture on friction vibration noise is studied by the method of model equivalence and finite element simulation.Through the verification of the established line contact high pair rolling and sliding friction test stand,the accuracy and reliability of the conclusions in this paper are ensured;A Z-20 fiber laser marking machine was used to laser micromanage the contact surface of a cylindrical roller to obtain the required test samples.The micro texture types of the surface of the test sample are micro pit type,groove type,and grid type,and a smooth surface is set as a control group.With a surface texture occupancy of 10%,the effects of smooth surface and surface texture with different morphologies on friction vibration noise are studied,and the effects of different loads and rotational speeds on friction vibration noise are analyzed.Through the mutual verification of gear system dynamics,finite element simulation and experiment,the main research conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)Through simulation and experiments,it is found that four groups of cylindrical roller friction systems exhibit varying degrees of self-excited vibration,and when high-frequency self-excited vibration occurs in the line contact high pair friction system,the system will be accompanied by friction squeal noise.Smooth-smooth contact is the most severe on the surface,indicating that surface texture can reduce the self-excited vibration of cylindrical roller contact systems.(2)Using the ANSYS Workbench finite element analysis software,the transient dynamic analysis of friction systems with smooth surfaces and three textured surfaces with different morphologies was performed,and the effects of different surface morphologies on the dynamic behavior of the system were well simulated.Smooth smooth surface friction pairs will generate continuous high-frequency vibration acceleration signals,and the friction system will undergo strong self-excited vibration and generate friction squeal noise;Texture smooth surface friction pairs can effectively interrupt the continuous contact of the friction system,effectively suppressing the continuous high-frequency vibration and friction squeal noise generated by the friction system.(3)Surface textures with different morphologies can reduce the vibration noise of the friction system,and the existence of textures can suppress the self-excited vibration of the friction system to a certain extent.By comparing and analyzing the friction vibration signals and sound signals of smooth smooth,micro pit smooth,groove smooth,and grid smooth surface textures,The grooved surface texture has a more significant effect on suppressing the vibration and noise of the line contact high pair rolling and sliding friction system.
