The wet clutch is one of the core components of fuel vehicles,and the overall transmission performance is directly determined by the performance of the wet clutch.Vehicles and heavy machinery face high-speed,heavy loads,or drive in complex road conditions,which place more stringent requirements on clutch components,key components of their transmissions.During the shift of a wet clutch,the friction layer wears out in physical and chemical processes,so the friction plates gradually increase the wear.When the friction plates begin to deteriorate,their torque transmission capacity and clutch operating reliability are significantly reduced.However,friction plates can be replaced too early and cause unnecessary repairs to the wet clutch,or replaced too late and cause damage to the wet clutch.Therefore,the development of monitoring and prediction systems for clutch friction plates is essential to achieve optimal maintenance strategies for vehicles equipped with wet clutch systems.(1)This paper first starts with the working principle of wet clutch and the three stages of wet clutch friction pair wear,through the study of various performance parameters of wet clutch during running-in,and the study of friction coefficient during friction pair running-in,the principle of detection equipment is determined,and the average coefficient of friction(COF)is introduced as the key parameter of wet clutch condition monitoring.The specific design content is the working principle and construction of the clutch test system,and the important results of the experimental device such as shafts,bearings,couplings,etc.are designed and checked to ensure that they can meet the needs of use.(2)Secondly,the clutch comprehensive performance inspection test system relied on in this paper is described in detail,and the basic working principle and its components of the inspection system are explained.Several key technologies of the test system,hydraulic loading technology,measurement technology of friction plate surface temperature,friction plate torque,pressure,speed testing technology and Kalman filtering of test results are introduced in detail.Through the study of the wear law of wet clutch,it was found that there was instability and multi-stage characteristics in the clutch wear process,and finally the oil data obtained from the clutch test bench was selected to monitor the wear status of the clutch.(3)Finally,combined with the simulation calculation model of wet clutch wear,the corresponding relationship between the established optimal characterization parameters and the state evaluation is used to carry out the research on the clutch state evaluation method.At the same time,it is planned to use the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method,comprehensively consider the change trend of the characterization parameters and the clutch working conditions,establish a fuzzy evaluation model for state evaluation,use the membership function to describe the clutch working state(initial,normal,severe wear),and explore the possibility of fault and its degree prediction.Finally,combined with the wet clutch wear test,the effectiveness of the clutch state evaluation method is verified by comparing the fuzzy evaluation results of the state assessment with the disassembly and inspection wear assessment standards.
