| Along with the world’s economy growing,energy consumption rises dramatically day by day.Traditional fossil fuels such as coal,crude oil,natural gas etc.are limited to short storage,unsustainable and environmental unfriendly due to emission of greenhouse gas.In the last decades,more and more attentions are paid to clean energy such as wind and solar.Entering 21 century,wind energy development is growing apparently more and more rapidly.Wind energy supply chain has covered all over the world.In order to keep competitive of electricity cost,wind products need rapid upgrade and cost need to be optimized continually.Hence it is critical to secure wind products’ development time,costs as well as quality.In this paper,the selected Company N is trying to transform actively under such situation;Capturing wind market since2003,it speeds up gearbox development and manufacturing for wind application.Before 2018,wind business has not developed its own quality system.It is critical to guarantee product development quality with the adoption of project quality management.This study selects project quality management of several wind products development in Company N as samples,based on issues encountered during product development,adopts literature research as theory basis,map the project quality status and problem diagnose through interview survey and data sorting and analysis of lessons learned,discovered that the issues arising from product development in Company N has wide similarities and repeatability.In response to the issues,to category them based on APQP4 Wind quality system and finalize solution from four aspects: establish project quality management procedure,control develop quality from both product and development process;improve product development procedure as it is both the precondition of product quality and development process quality;establish project quality management team,quality management activities are not dispensable,not Ruritanian,not depend on single person but teamwork combined with supervision;transforming of project organization to strong matrix can authorize more power to project manager,making project quality management as cross functional activity more efficient.Shared goals can maximize the synergy of interdepartmental team.From the perspective of application,the study identifies potential obstacles during improvement action execution and provide possible solutions based on project management and project quality management.Through the study of project quality management of Company N and solution application,the study proves that through structural activities and quality management,APQP4 Wind can shorten development time,save development cost,improve product quality as well as development quality.Improvement solutions based on APQP4 Wind of Company N are effective in improving product quality and process quality.To some extent,the study also enriches study theory of project quality management in wind products.It also can be taken as a reference for other component suppliers in wind energy during related study and application. |
