| Against the backdrop of rural revitalization,China’s rural tourism industry is rapidly developing,and the number of rural homestay construction is constantly increasing.Against the backdrop of thriving tourism in the surrounding areas,Guangzhou,as a first tier city,has a large demand that provides impetus for the development of rural tourism in Guangzhou,and rural homestays are rapidly developing.In the exploration process of continuous standardization and high-quality development,Guangzhou rural homestays have gradually formed some rural homestays with local design characteristics of Guangzhou.Based on this background,the paper conducts research on the local design characteristics of Guangzhou rural homestays,and summarizes them from three local dimensions: site environment,local culture,and users.This study is divided into three main parts.The first part is about the basic research of rural homestay and locality.Firstly,the research background,object,and related basic content of this article were summarized.After that,the basic research on rural homestay and locality is sorted out.Finally,it summarizes the relevance between locality and rural homestay from the two aspects of development direction and attention subject,and summarizes the locality characteristics of Guangzhou,laying the foundation for the following research.The second part is about the investigation of Guangzhou rural homestay and the analysis of its local design characteristics.First of all,the development background of Guangzhou rural homestay is sorted out,and the current situation of homestay is investigated.Combined with the specific investigation of some homestay cases and the results of the in place experience questionnaire,the current situation and characteristics of the in place design of Guangzhou rural homestay are analyzed.Summarize and propose six design principles:overall development,joint construction of multiple entities,inheritance and updating of local culture,adaptation of space to local activities,optimization of spatial experience,and sustainable development.And summarize the corresponding design characteristic elements based on the three local dimensions of site environment,local culture,and user.The third part is about the research on locally-inspired design features of rural homestays in Guangzhou.Through the previous research content,this paper summarizes the specific local design characteristics of Guangzhou rural homestay from three dimensions.The design features based on the site environment are summarized as follows: planning and location selection to highlight the unique attributes of each homestay,maintaining the integrity of architectural elements,and repurposing functional spaces.The design features based on local culture are summarized as follows: spatial adaptation to accommodate characteristic activities,interpretation of local architectural styles,and the use of locally-sourced building materials.The design features based on the user are summarized as follows: participating in the construction of villages,continuing the place experience,and improving the visual experience of the subject. |
