This study compares the theories of rural settlement geography,genetics,community ecology and the spatial composition of traditional villages,based on the theory of "spatial gene" and the introduction of ecological "species diversity" to study the spatial characteristics of Dong minority,and tries to surmount the parochialism of the study in traditional villages from the perspective of the organic whole.The study is based on the theory of "spatial gene" and the introduction of ecological "species diversity" to study the spatial characteristics of Dong minority.The spatial gene of Dong minority in the Tongdao Pingtan River basin is identified and extracted by combining the typological classification method and the feature structure extraction method.The richness,uniformity and diversity index of the spatial genes of villages are studied by using the community ecology survey method and the α diversity index to analyze the differences of diversity indexes of different villages and spaces.Finally,the study concludes by classifying and summarizing the conservation strategies of villages,and developing ideas for adapting cultural heritage conservation policies and optimizing the livable environment of villages.The full thesis consists of four parts: The first part elaborates the basic situation of Tongdao County,analyzes the distribution characteristics of traditional villages in Tongdao County,and takes the Pingtan River Basin as the research area,and selects six typical villages as the research samples.The second part defines the spatial structure levels and types of traditional villages in Pingtan River Basin,and identifies and extracts the spatial genes of sample villages.In the third part,on the basis of extracting the spatial gene of traditional villages,the spatial gene diversity characteristics of sample villages are analyzed.In the fourth part,according to the different development status of traditional villages,two traditional village protection strategies are constructed,including gene independent steady state protection and gene symbiotic live state protection,and a dynamic monitoring machine for spatial gene diversity is proposed.The results showed that the overall spatial gene richness and evenness indices of the sample villages were 13.961~15.478 and0.693~0.765,respectively,and the diversity indices were 3.362~3.604 and 0.950~0.960,with small differences in their diversity indices,but large differences in richness between different villages,and the higher gene types and number of individuals in the architectural space were 34 and 14998.The spatial gene uniformity of traditional villages was at a low level.The richness indices of native gene and exotic gene are12.469~14.197 and 0.887~1.791 respectively.Villages are affected by exotic gene to varying degrees.Exotic gene will reduce the dominance of native genes and improve the uniformity of the overall spatial genes,thereby improving the overall spatial gene diversity index,so the level of traditional village diversity index can reflect its current state of protection and development.On this basis,the traditional village protection strategy can be constructed according to the spatial gene diversity index of traditional villages.
