From The Perspective Of Cultural Gene Of Qiandongnan Dong Rural Settlement Spatial Morphology

As a country with a long agricultural civilization, there are many traditional villages with a long history and different forms. After hundreds of years of development, these villages are very ingenious in the space layout and coexistence with nature environment, embodies the local traditional culture, the art of architecture and town spatial pattern. Under the background of rapid urbanization in southwest region, finding dong culture of rural settlements and protecting their traditional characteristics has become a problem we must face.Based on the field research and literature research, this paper uses the related research results and methods of cultural gene theory to study the cultural gene and rural settlement space of Dong Nationality in Qiandongnan area. The study includes the core cultural gene mining of Dong people in Qiandongnan area, the summary of the core features of the spatial pattern of the Dong Nationality Rural Settlement in Qiandongnan area and the analysis of the function mechanism of cultural gene in settlement space.Through the study on the traditional culture and investigation on the settlement space of Dong Nationality in Qiandongnan area, the main conclusions of this study include the following aspects: At first, the core cultural genes of Dong Nationality in Qiandongnan region were born and bred in a specific geographical environment. It is the core idea of the Dong people in dealing with the relationship between man and nature, man and man, man and God, including seeing the nature as the source of value system, mutual benefit and coexistence of the principles of communication between man and nature, the group psychology of unity, respecting the elders of the code of conduct, yearning for a quiet cultural psychology, equal and harmonious values and the religious psychology of all things. Secondly, the research taking several Dong villages with complete spatial pattern and regional characteristics as research subjects. The research has analyzed Qiandongnan Dong Nationality Rural settlement space and summarized the main spatial characteristics. Thirdly, the function mechanism of Dong minority cultural gene in Qiandongnan area was analyzed and summarized in the study. Finally, combined with the changes of the traditional settlement space of Dong Nationality in Qiandongnan area in recent years, the research makes a reflection on the village protection work in the development of tourism. Hoping to provide some advice and help to the protection of traditional villages in the area.
