Henan Huaiyang "Mud Dog" Cultural Creative Product Design Research

In 2014,the Huaiyang "Mud Dog" was included in the fourth batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.The Huaiyang "Mud Dog" has a long history,a simple shape and a mysterious and unique pattern,and is of great research value.In recent years,with the development of social modernization,the inheritance and development of Huaiyang "mud dog"is facing a huge impact."This paper uses a variety of research methods,such as literature,to study the cultural heritage of the Huaiyang Mud Dogs.This paper uses various research methods,such as literature survey,field survey,questionnaire survey and case study,to explore the transformation and application of Huaiyang’s "mud dogs" in cultural and creative products,using Huaiyang’s "mud dogs" as an entry point.This paper is an innovative study in four aspects: firstly,to shape the Huaiyang "mud dog" cultural and creative brand-"Yu Mud Play",to help Huaiyang "mud dog" cultural heritage and promotion;firstly,to shape the Huaiyang "mud dog" cultural and creative brand-"Yu Mud Play"."Secondly,it combines the visual elements of the " mud dog " with emerging technologies and comprehensive materials to design the " Yu Mud Play " series of products." Then,combining the functional,interesting and emotional design of cultural and creative products,the design of "Yu Mud Play" picture books,DIY experience kits and educational puzzles;and finally,combining with the temple fair of Taihao Tomb,the design of tourism cultural and creative products.The author has completed this design practice with a new design perspective,hoping to achieve the innovation and value-added of Huaiyang clay dogs in the cultural and creative market.
