Research On Integrated Urban Design Of Small And Micro Public Space From The Perspective Of Spatial Justice

At present,China’s urban development has entered a period of stock renewal,and the improvement of urban space quality tends to be micro and fine.As the basic space carrier closely related to residents’ daily life,small and micro public space space quality and justice in the design process will directly affect residents’ sense of happiness and gain.However,residents usually have strong individual demands,and there are often contradictions and conflicts among stakeholders.The demand for justice of urban renewal and efficient,intensive and compact utilization of current space resources is increasing day by day.Therefore,it is of great significance to construct an integrated urban design framework from the perspective of spatial justice for small and micro public Spaces.At present,when various resources are limited,building an integrated urban design methodology for multiple subjects in small and micro public Spaces and exploring operable practice paths and planning tools can promote the integrity and effectiveness of space resource allocation,reduce communication costs,and ultimately realize the improvement of space environment quality of space justice.This study takes urban small and micro public space as the research object,introduces the theory of space justice,first reviews the domestic and foreign research progress on space justice and small and micro public space,summarizes the research on integrated urban design methods,and focuses on analyzing the characteristics of small and micro public space and the basic links of urban design oriented to small and micro public space.And through the analysis of the basic dimension of the value orientation of space justice,it provides a theoretical basis for the construction of the integrated urban design framework of small and micro public space.Then,the basic method of integrated urban design of small and micro public space under the guidance of spatial justice is constructed,and the basic value dimension of spatial justice is coupled with the integrated urban design of small and micro public space.The KANO-QFD quantitative measurement model which can realize the justice demand response is introduced,and the adaptability of the model is discussed.A measure matrix of urban design requirements and elements of small and micro public space based on the perspective of space justice is constructed,and a measure method that can judge the priority of spatial subjects’ demands and the organizational weight of design elements is proposed,so as to rationally transform the demand information into design decisions,and form an urban design strategy response that can be widely recognized by spatial subjects in an integrated way.That is,an integrated urban design method is formed by measuring the spatial subject demand and urban design elements from the perspective of spatial justice and sorting out the relationship.In addition,this study selected the public space of No.12 Building in the Third District of Yutaoyuan,Beijing as an empirical case to verify the effectiveness of the integrated urban design method based on spatial justice,and to provide a practical methodology supported by empirical cases for the integrated urban design of small and micro public space.This study believes that integrated urban design,through the integration and overall planning of functional requirements and the organic organization of spatial elements,has methodological guiding significance for carrying out urban design research in small and micro public Spaces with small scale but diversified and complex main demands and closely related to residents’ daily spatial rights and interests.Integrated urban design constructed from the perspective of spatial justice is to maximize the integration of existing resources,quantify the main needs of small and micro public space,integrate the elements of organizational space design,and carry out the overall design of small and micro public space resources from the dimensions of justice of distribution result and justice of distribution process under the circumstance of limited space resources.Thus,the expression of multiple subjects’ needs and space rights from the perspective of space justice is maintained.Under the fact that absolute justice cannot be realized in the allocation of urban space resources,it is necessary to fully consider the differences in demand and behavioral ability among multiple subjects,seek equal spatial discourse rights of multiple subjects,help vulnerable groups in small and micro public Spaces to seek the maximum spatial benefits,and realize intensive,comprehensive and efficient fine utilization of small and micro public space resources and coordination of intergroup relations.Build an integrated urban design path of co-construction and sharing for small and micro public Spaces,and achieve an integrated spatial justice presentation.
