Research On Architectural Design Of Museums In Beijing Based On The Expression Of Traditional Architectural Culture

In the process of rapid modernization of Chinese architecture,the discussion on whether and how to inherit traditional architectural culture has been uninterrupted.The current trend of diversification in architecture is emphasizing the modernization of architecture while paying more attention to the inheritance of tradition.To make contemporary architecture more Chinese features,it is necessary to go back to the roots of tradition,to dig deeper,to inherit and to innovate,and to find the fitting point between tradition and modernity.This paper discusses the design approach of expressing traditional Chinese architectural culture in the architectural design of museums in Beijing.The city of Beijing,with a history of more than three thousand years of founding,has a much deeper traditional architectural culture,and a large number of modern museums have been built in recent times.As a microcosm of modern architectural development,the museum itself has strong cultural attributes and plays an important role in presenting the culture of the city and even the culture of the nation.Therefore,this paper takes the museums in Beijing as the entry point to explore the design techniques of traditional architectural culture expression in the modern museum buildings in Beijing.The first Chapter discusses the background of this paper,defines the object and scope of the study,analyzes the current research situation at home and abroad,and proposes the research method and research framework.Chapter 2explores the reasons and possibilities of modern translation of traditional architectural culture,briefly analyzes the development of architecture at home and abroad,and finally takes three representative museums as examples to analyze their design methods of inheriting traditional architectural culture and making modern expressions.Chapter 3 takes architectural semiotics as the theoretical basis to study the application of traditional architectural symbols in museums in Beijing,analyzing their inheritance and evolution process from three aspects: roof forms,architectural components,architectural decoration and colors,and finally summarizing the modern expression of traditional architectural symbols.Chapter 4 examines the application of traditional architectural space and its design techniques in Beijing museums,analyzing its design methods from three aspects: axis,architectural layout,and architectural space,and finally discussing the design of space and the expression of traditional philosophical views.Chapter 5 based on the analysis in the previous chapters,combines museum cases from other regions and proposes three design approaches for museum architecture in Beijing to better express the cultural expression of traditional architecture in terms of museum site selection and general layout,spatial design and organization,and overall shape and detailed design,and makes four suggestions.Through the analysis and summary of the completed museums in Beijing,this paper discusses the architectural design methods to better express the Chinese traditional architectural culture and show the Chinese characteristics of the museums in Beijing,based on the characteristic architectural and cultural expressions of other regions.It is hoped that the analysis and research in this paper will provide some reference for the creation of museums in Beijing in the future,as the construction of the "City of Museums" in Beijing is still in progress.
