The Returning By The Traditional Architectural Culture

The modernization of traditional architecture is always an important proposition. Chineseculture was artificially divided during the process of cultural turmoil in the last60’s. Sincereform and opening up, under the influence of globalization, the collision of traditional cultureand modern development has brought a big challenge to Chinese architects. The superficialand increasing homogenization of foreign culture are gradually questioned by architects. Howto base on our own culture, draw the essence from from our own culture, apply it in theconstruction practice and make it live long, start a suitable way to develop our nationalarchitecture culture is becoming an important subject for Contemporary architects.Chinese architecture has shown the trend of rapid growth in recent years, an obviouschange is that Chinese contemporary young architects have started their show on the stage. Itwill be useful in finding the orientation of future Chinese architecture designing, by studyingthese young architects’ works which are active in the present designing market, and analyzingtheir thought. The reason that choosing these rural constructions that are designed in an easyand pure environment, is to directly analysis young architects’ mind and value. My paper’swork is to prove that architects has been studying traditional architectural culture by analyzingyoung architects’ works in rural.The paper introduced all the rural constructions and their designers that had woncorresponding one of three awards, added some other young architects’ rural works in detail,and discussed things in material ways like translation way and expressing principle of Chinesetraditional architectural culture. To deepen the topic in the end, ascended it to the spirituallevel, explaining contemporary young architects’ ideological trend for traditional architecturalculture at different times, and get the conclusion that traditional architectural culture hasreturned again basing on the depth profiling of the two levers above. More attention ontraditional architectural culture, and exploration of trend of young architects’ ideology, willhelp us to read the development direction of Chinese architecture creation in a period of futuretime, and guide the future work.
