As an emerging digital architectural design and management tool,BIM technology can improve work efficiency,reduce errors and costs at all stages of architectural design,construction and operation,and improve the sustainability of the entire building life cycle.With the vigorous promotion of BIM technology in our country,it has become a necessary trend.In terms of steel structure design,the traditional two-dimensional design drawing is difficult to intuitively express the complexity of the three-dimensional structure of the steel structure,and it is difficult to clearly show the details of the structural connection mode,material and size.BIM technology can realize three-dimensional modeling,intuitively show the shape and spatial relationship of the structure,and avoid the problem of insufficient three-dimensional sense in traditional two-dimensional design drawing.BIM technology can realize the three-dimensional modeling of steel structure members.Digitization and informatization,integrating various information of components such as geometry,materials and sources into a platform for collaborative management,is a very valuable technical means.As a mainstream BIM software,Revit has a wide range of application scenarios in the construction field,but there is no rich steel node family library in the deepening design of steel structure joints,and the function of automatically generating joints by identifying components such as beams and columns.And for the management of Revit family parameters,manual input is time-consuming and error-prone.In view of the above problems,this paper mainly carried out the following research:(1)The composition of different types of steel joint components is decomposed.Using the new family function of Revit,a reasonable new family model is selected,and a steel joint component library is established by parametric modeling.Then,through the method of nested family,the geometric constraints of steel joint members are carried out to form parameterized steel structure joints.The establishment of beam-beam joints,beam-column joints,column base joints and splicing joint family libraries was completed.(2)Combined with the secondary development knowledge of Revit,the secondary development of Revit is carried out by means of Revit API and C # language.The rapid positioning of steel joint modeling and the assignment of joint parameters are realized by programming.Through the functions of data binding and command binding provided by WPF,the user interface is bound to the data and commands of Revit to create a simple and intuitive steel node modeling interface.(3)In the Revit environment,it is time-consuming and labor-intensive for the project group to manually enter parameters,and it is easy to cause inaccurate parameters due to input errors.Extract the family parameter information in the txt text,check the uniqueness of the parameters,and enter the parameters into the current family file or the family file under a folder to realize the automatic management of the family parameters.Finally,the research results of this paper are used to carry out parametric design of steel structure joints in a cultural center project,and the parameters of beam and column groups are automatically input to verify the practicability and versatility of the plug-in.
