Radar,a crucial element in the detection, locating and surveillance of hostile objectives in modern warfare,is a major factor in determining the war’s result.Nevertheless, when confronted with targets that have employed stealth technology, the detection and tracking capacities of traditional radars are restricted. Therefore,if you want to anticipate enemy aircraft, you need to develop anti-stealth radars.Thesis takes the stealth aircraft F-35 as the research target, firstly studies the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of the stealth aircraft without absorbing material in the centimeter-wave and millimeter-wave bands, and establishes the static RCS full airspace database of F-35 at 30 GHz.Simulating the trajectory of a stealth aircraft, the static RCS database is utilized to calculate its dynamic RCS.The thesis’ s primary focus is as follows:(1)The static RCS characteristics of the stealth aircraft F-35 are analyzed.First, the NURBS surface model of the stealth aircraft F-35 is established and the mesh is divided.Electromagnetic simulation software is employed to calculate the radar scattering cross section of the F-35 at various frequencies;the characteristics of this cross section, varying with frequency, incidence angle and other parameters, are then examined;(2)Establish the full-airspace static RCS database of F-35,simulate the flight path of F-35,calculate the dynamic RCS of F-35 based on the established static RCS database, simulate the real navigation situation, and provide basic data support for the detection of F-35;(3)The radar cross sections of weak scattering targets such as gaps, rivets and screws on stealth aircraft at different frequencies are calculated, and the advantages of millimeter wave in detecting weak scattering targets such as gaps, rivets and screws are analyzed.
