Research On Theater Space Design From The Perspective Of Immersive Experience

With the development of digital technology,people’s viewing habits have changed,and the demand for their own viewing experience is also constantly increasing.As a special way of experiencing theater space,although it meets people’s needs to relax and pursue a pleasant experience,it also has problems such as a single viewing mode,insufficient interactivity,and a lack of new media integration.The updating and iteration of theater space has become an indispensable part.In order to meet the needs of the new era market,immersive experience,as a cutting-edge and growth oriented new experience mode,is increasingly valued in theater design.The’immersive’ entertainment industry,which adapts to various functions such as informatization and emotionalization,is creating a new way for its development.Therefore,designing from an immersive experience perspective has become a requirement and inevitable trend in the development of modern theaters.This project combines theater space with immersive experience,starting from the perspective of immersive experience,abandoning the traditional nature of theater space,and analyzing and researching how to make audiences feel immersive experience in theater space.Attempt to explore a new experiential approach that is more in line with the development of the times in the contemporary context for theater space.This project selects theater space as the design object,with immersive experience as the design core,and elaborates on the content of the article from multiple perspectives.In the introduction section of the first chapter,the research background,current research status at home and abroad,as well as the research significance and methods of this article are mainly elaborated.Chapter 2 provides an overview of the concept and development of immersion theory and immersive theater space,and studies popular immersive theater cases in China.Chapter 3 analyzes the design strategy of immersive experience theater space,and studies the inherent relationship and design methods of immersive design in theater space.Chapter 4 specifically elaborates on the design of immersive theater space,explaining how to provide the audience with an immersive experience through the narrative and immersive expression of the space.
