Research On Visual Control Of World Cultural Heritage In Dengfeng City

As a carrier of the Chinese nation’s historical memory,cultural heritage space has great significance and value.With the widespread recognition of the concept of holistic conservation exhibition,the protection and utilisation of cultural heritage and its surrounding environment has become more important and urgent.Under the concept of holistic conservation,visual control,as a form of spatial protection of cultural heritage,can achieve holistic control of the spatial environment of urban cultural heritage,thereby enhancing its aesthetic value and cultural attractiveness,and thus promoting the sustainable development and conservation of the urban cultural landscape.Therefore,this study elaborates on the world cultural heritage space in Dengfeng City by the approach of visual control,which contains the following four parts:Firstly,the necessity and importance of visual control of cultural heritage space is explained in the context of the protection of the visual integrity of world heritage space,China’s territorial spatial planning and the resource use of world heritage space in Dengfeng City.And the existing protection plans for world heritage space in Dengfeng City are analysed and improvement strategies for the existing plans are proposed.The study is carried out through theories and cases related to cultural heritage space and visual control.In the process of that,the researcher summarizes the basic methods of visual control for different research objects in China,uses visual control as an entry point and proposes a planning control method for the World Heritage Space in Dengfeng City,which is equivalent to the "Middle of Heaven and Earth" historical building complex in Dengfeng City.Secondly,the study of World Cultural Heritage space in Dengfeng City is carried out at the macro,meso and micro levels to explore its spatial value and the main factors influencing the World Cultural Heritage space.Thirdly,by analysing the spatial patterns of World Cultural Heritage in Dengfeng City,the visual control method of World Cultural Heritage space in Dengfeng City is proposed based on the physiological characteristics of human vision with three elements: spatial form,view field and view point,and landscape view corridor.Finally,based on the spatial characteristics of World Cultural Heritage in Dengfeng City,the spatial pattern of World Cultural Heritage in Dengfeng City is determined;the visual field and viewpoint for visual control are selected;the distribution range of landscape elements is used as the basis for the scale control of the view corridor to construct the view corridor.Immediately after the author puts the method into practice.The method has been combined with GIS-related technology to optimise the practical results and propose control measures for each visual control area,in order to further realize the operability of the method,with a view to adding new references to the delineation of similar cultural heritage spaces.
