| The airport terminal curbside is a specific transportation connection platform facility for various pedestrians,mainly air passengers,to transfer between the terminal and passenger vehicles.It can satisfy the short-term parking needs of various passenger vehicles and has a critical impact on the normal operation of the airport ground transportation system.During peak passenger flow periods,problems such as insufficient capacity and congestion of the airport terminal curbside occur frequently,seriously affecting the traffic efficiency of the airport ground transportation.Therefore,accurate calculation of the airport terminal curbside capacity is crucial for optimizing airport ground transportation organization and improving airport service level.In this thesis,we analyze the micro characteristics of passenger vehicles at the airport terminal curbside and establish a simulation model based on the cellular automaton theory to calculate the capacity of the airport terminal curbside.Firstly,we classify and introduce the layout pattern and traffic management measures of the airport terminal curbside and conduct a detailed analysis of the influencing factors of the airport terminal curbside capacity and the micro behaviors of different types of passenger vehicles.Secondly,we construct different types of passenger vehicle operation rules,free lane change and forced lane change rules,parking space selection rules,and pedestrian crossing rules based on the cellular automaton theory.Then,we build a simulation model of the twolane and three-lane airport terminal curbsides,calibrate the model parameters with observation data from Kunming Changshui International Airport,and verify the feasibility of the model to calculate the capacity of the airport terminal curbside.Next,based on the actual survey data of the departure terminal curbside of Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport,we construct a twolane simulation model of the airport terminal curbside using the cellular automaton theory and analyze the influencing factors such as the effective length of parking spaces,the number of driving lanes,the parking time and method of passenger vehicles,and the position and quantity of parking spaces.Finally,to calculate the maximum service capacity of the departure curbside at Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport,and to forecast that the size of the existing departure curbside at this airport will reach the maximum number of delivery vehicles it can service in 2030. |
