| The excessive speed of urbanization enhancement brought by globalization is most prominent in cities and streets.The neglect of the evolutionary path of system science and the excessive pursuit of standardized modern design paradigms have led to the loss of architectural heritage,serious environmental damage,and the convergence of place development,and a series of problems related to street interface characteristics.Throughout the current urban research at home and abroad,Complex Adaptive Systems(CAS)theory is used as the basis for analyzing urban and architectural problems,and the design research related to the micro-renewal of building interfaces along the streets has a tendency to normalize the practice.Therefore,taking CAS theory as the starting point,it provides theoretical and practical research ideas to determine the framework,methods,and technical routes for micro-renewal of street-level building interfaces,which becomes an effective implementation tool to solve interface problems in current urban renewal development.The latest urbanization rate and policy data are calculated,and the classic cases of interface micro-renewal in Shanghai Yuyuan Road,Beijing Dajie Ban neighborhood and Guangzhou Enning Road are selected to interpret the practice process in order to refine and organize the focus and path of interface micro-renewal of buildings along the streets.The actual situation of interface micro-renewal in Hefei city is synthesized,and the existing problems and reasons behind the urban interface micro-renewal in Hefei are analyzed,considering the differences with other cities in China.Based on this,we deconstruct the elements of interface micro-renewal with the help of qualitative research methods,and conclude that architecture,landscape and place are the key influencing factors.Drawing on CAS as a theoretical guide,the third generation system theory provides a new perspective on the complexity of the evolutionary process by taking the spatial carrier of the system along the street building interface,which has a crucial impact on the development of the street and even the city,as the research object.Using the theoretical system and methodological framework,we analyze the connotation of the micro-renewal system of the building interface along the street;understand the complexity characteristics of the micro-renewal of the building interface along the street;understand the complexity evolution presented by the micro-renewal of the building interface along the street under this perspective;and further structure the complex adaptive system of the micro-renewal of the interface.Firstly,by analyzing the concepts of each subsystem that constitutes the microupdate complex adaptation system of the building interface along the street,the complex adaptive pathways of each subsystem in the process of feedback and adjustment at the macro level are decomposed.Secondly,taking architecture as the adaptive subject,the synergy methods between architectural subjects and diversified interface systems,environmental objects and agglomeration interface systems,and place media and nonlinear interface systems are further summarized.Finally,the methods of architectural renewal,landscape environment and place atmosphere are explored to play their respective roles on the interface system.In today’s era,“fine city” has become the development goal of Hefei city,and Changjiang East Road,as the core integrated artery of eastward development,is of great significance to Hefei.Taking the local street building interface along the route as an example,we systematically analyze the regional background and current problems,and sort out the current elements of the interface.The section from Chuzhou Road to the East First Ring Road is taken as an example to analyze the adaptive micro-renewal paths of building bodies one by one;the two types of substreet systems,Hepu South Road(residential)and Zhantang Road(commercial),are considered in an integrated manner to analyze the micro-renewal strategy solutions generated by the interface from four aspects: overall concept,building bodies,landscape environment and place atmosphere,in order to verify the feasibility of the theory in practical application.Finally,by establishing a multi-party feedback mechanism and a comprehensive evaluation and supervision system to systematically correct the conclusions,the basic conditions for long-term monitoring of the building interface along East Changjiang Road are constructed.The study meets the requirements of Changjiang East Road in Hefei for the microrenewal of the street architectural interface,which will drive the overall eastward extension of the city in the future.Ultimately,“the people,city and environment” will be revitalized in the street interface,realizing the beautiful vision of guiding the street revival.The research contributes to the universal applicability of micro-renewal to achieve systematic quality improvement of buildings and streets along the street interface,aids the sustainability of micro-renewal of street building interface through systemic thinking,and lays the foundation for the application of complex adaptive systems theory to microrenewal practice projects in other areas within the city.Big data and complex adaptive systems are in the same vein,and it is an innovative and feasible attempt to focus on diverse old district groups for the building interface along the street.In the future,a system platform can be built through technical means to ensure that the interface design can be implemented into grassroots governance and form a dynamic interface control.Figure [59] table [34] reference [91]... |
