As a representative area of the city with the most social and economic vitality,the business center area embodies the local cultural heritage and commercial characteristics.At the same time,it is also a concentrated expression of the level of urban construction and image.With the acceleration of urbanization in China,the rapid increase in the urban population and the growing tension in construction land,the demand for high-density commercial development in urbanization continues to grow.At the same time,due to the continued growth of people’s income and consumption in recent years,the city’s commercial the commercial development of the center complex has become the mainstream development model.The streets of the commercial center area are an important part of the urban public space.Their vitality directly affects the people’s first impression of the city;and the complex interface as the street space interface side,have a direct impact on the pedestrian street space in the central business district.This article selects four typical commercial centers in the main urban area of Chongqing as the research object,from the material elements and space environment of the complex building interface to study the relevance of street vitality;while seeking ways to improve the vitality of the urban commercial center streets,trying to establish a relevant evaluation system.The paper starts with the concepts of “street vigor” and “building interface”,finds out the influencing factors and evaluation criteria of street vigor,collates and measures the correlation research between building interface and street vigor,Referring to the relevant research both at home and abroad and the preliminary research in the field,it is concluded that the main factors related to the vitality value of the complex building interface include: the number of entrances and exits,details of facades,store density,transparency,affixing rate,indoor and outdoor elevation difference;and the vitality of the local streets of the complex building interface in the commercial center area is mainly concentrated in: population density,frequency of space use,residence time,social activities.Through the data analysis of vitality factors,the dynamic value of local streets can be obtained by subjective scoring,and the correlation evaluation criteria between the building interface elements and the dynamic value of related complex can be obtained by visual contrast analysis.Then the paper takes 16 typical commercial complex buildings in four commercial centers as the research object,and the corresponding street research boundaries.After analyzing the development status of complex buildings,the interface elements of 16 complex buildings are investigated,recorded and quantified;and measured the vitality of local streets,and analyzed the correlation between them.Finally,based on the problems existing in the 16 research objects,the paper proposes related solutions and strategies from the perspective of architecture and urban design.
