Road lighting glare will affect the driver’s normal visual observation ability and is an important factor affecting road traffic safety,especially traffic safety at night.The glare suffered by drivers in the road lighting environment is mainly the dynamic glare generated by road lighting in the high-speed movement of the vehicle,and there are differences between dynamic glare and conventional static glare in the mechanism and degree of influence.However,the current research on glare mainly focuses on lighting glare under static conditions,and there is a lack of relevant evaluation studies on dynamic glare in actual roads.Therefore,under the background of the rapid development of current road lighting technology,the research on dynamic glare evaluation methods for dynamic and static glare differences is of great significance for road traffic safety and the development of lighting technology.Firstly,this thesis systematically analyzed the generation mechanism and existing evaluation methods of road lighting glare,adopted the Threshold Increment as the basis for building a dynamic glare evaluation model,analyzes the difference between dynamic and static glare based on the visual characteristics of the human eye,started from the change of equivalent glare area,takes digital images as the carrier,and the dynamic glare evaluation method is systematically studied through the acquisition and processing of dynamic images.Taking the Threshold Increment as the basic model,the application principle and method of digital image technology in outdoor road lighting glare evaluation are studied,and the light parameters and area parameters required for glare evaluation are obtained,and the accuracy of the glare evaluation parameter method obtained by digital image technology is verified in the comparison with the results obtained by traditional test methods,which lays a foundation for the acquisition of dynamic glare evaluation parametersSecondly,based on the visual characteristics of the human eye and the theory of image fusion,this thesis realizes the acquisition of dynamic images of road lighting at night by using methods based on the visual characteristics of the human eye.The results of multiple sets of realscene experimental data on night roads show that the proposed method can effectively obtain dynamic glare images in motion state,and then realize the detection of dynamic glare.Finally,this thesis systematically analyzed the variation rule of light source area through the acquired dynamic image of road lighting.based on the analysis of road lighting characteristics and the existing glare evaluation system,a dynamic glare evaluation model of road lighting based on the persistence characteristics of human eye vision is proposed,which can be used for the detection and evaluation of dynamic glare of road lighting.
