| As one of the public spaces that still exist in the urban regeneration process,the vefetable market is an important place for people’s daily life and social interaction,and carrying the diversity of city life.The vegetable market brings together people of different ages and backgrounds for the social interaction activity of buying and selling,and is also one of the important sources of the city’s vitality.At presen,with the accelerated development of the city,the people’s living standards and aesthetic improvement,the previous vegetable market can no longer meet the growing needs of the people.In the context of urban renewal,the vegetable market space of old city is an important daily commercial space,but it is increasingly difficult to meet the needs of the times,with the aesthetics of the times,and can not meet the growing material needs of people.Therefore,the state has formulated and improved a series of relevant macro guidelines for "The Vegetable Basket Project" for the national economy and people’s livelihood.In this paper,based on the catalytic theory,from the perspective of people’s material and spiritual needs,the author explore spatial renewal strategy of vegetable markets in the old city to stimulate the spatial vitality of the old city.Firstly,conduct a study of the basic concept,action principle and application mechanism of catalyst theory,and vegetable market space.Analyze excellent case experiences at home and abroad,and summarize the methods of spatial renewal of vegetable market.Secondly,analyze the historical and cultural resources of Wenling City.Field research on the vegetable markets in Wenling old city,and analyze the current situation of Taiping Road vegetable market,discuss its shortcomings.Constructing the application framework of catalyst theory in spatial renewal of vegetable market,analysis on the design principles of spatial renewal of vegetable market.Clear catalyst target,seting about the material form elements and non-material form elements.Renewal the space of Taiping Road vegetable market from the shaping of catalyst elements and the follow-up guidance of catalyst effect.Using SD semantic difference method,this paper evaluates the practice case of spatial renewal of Taiping Road vegetable market by questionnaire,according to the questionnaire results,it is determined that the catalyst theory can be flexibly applied to the spatial renewal design of the vegetable market in Wenling old city.And puts forward the spatial renewal strategy of vegetable market in Wenling old city from three aspects:functional elements,spatial elements and cultural elements.Create a vegetable market space where regional culture and market culture coexist,and give play to the "catalytic effect" of the vegetable market space in order to promote the vitality of the old city.The purpose is to design a vegetable market with regional culture and street culture,so as to improve the quality of life and happiness of urban residents,shape a good urban public space,enhance the image of the city and activate the vitality of the old city. |
