Evaluation And Optimization Strategies Of Xi’an Community Parks Based On The Concept Of Rehabilitative Landscape

In the new era,with the rapid development of the city,the issue of people’s physical and mental health at this stage has caused great concern in the society.Xi’an is a city with a large population in the northwest,and as the pressure of life continues to intensify,people increasingly need rehabilitative landscapes.Rehabilitation landscape is suitable for residents to relieve physical and mental pressure,and it is widely used in urban parks,and community parks are the most convenient places for residents to relax and play.Therefore,this paper adopts the concept of rehabilitative landscape and uses hierarchical analysis to evaluate community parks in Xi’an,to guide the park renovation and optimization,to expand the application of rehabilitative landscape,and to improve the quality of community parks in Xi’an,to enhance the physical and mental health of residents,and to provide reference for related studies.Firstly,this paper composes the relevant literature and the current situation of domestic and foreign research on community parks and rehabilitative landscapes,and summarizes the types of community parks rehabilitative landscapes and their expressions by analyzing the relevant theories(concepts,history and development,basic features and main functions,etc.).At the same time,the relevant case studies such as the restorative landscape of the New Parkland Hospital in the United States and the rehabilitation garden of the Long Lake Summer Palace in Chongqing are analyzed,and the design can be summarized.On the basis of this study,20 representative community parks were selected from 75 community parks in Xi’an for field research through the screening of area,location and other conditions to understand the landscape profile and usage of the parks,and preliminary analysis of the sample parks was conducted with the PRS scale,and it was found that they all had rehabilitative effects,but the effects were more general.Specific studies were conducted on the higher rated Lianhu Park and Chanba Zishui Park,etc.By summarizing the specific embodiment methods of the rehabilitative factors in community parks in Xi’an,we provide reference for the selection of rehabilitative landscape evaluation factors.Secondly,through theoretical research,this paper establishes an evaluation model for the rehabilitative landscape of community parks in Xi’an,which has 5 criterion layer factors and 20 indicator layer factors.The weight ranking of the evaluation indexes,i.e.the importance to the rehabilitative landscape of the community park,was obtained from the expert questionnaire,and the weights of the five criterion layers were site space(0.2983)> sensory environment(0.1977)>service facilities(0.1917)> landscape environment(0.1691)> road traffic(0.1432).Data were collected from 20 selected community parks in Xi’an through on-site questionnaires,and the results showed that the quality of rehabilitative landscape in community parks varied.Among them,Lianhu Park(4.33),Chanba Zishui Park(4.12)and Xinghe Sports Park(4.12)had higher scores and better rehabilitative landscapes,while Dongyuan Park(3.50),Mingde Gate Community Square(3.63)and Hanpo Triangle Park(3.64)had lower scores and poorer rehabilitative landscapes,and the overall quality of rehabilitative landscapes in community parks in Xi’an was in the middle to upper level.Finally,by analyzing and organizing the current problems of 20 community parks,we propose corresponding optimization and enhancement strategies for community parks in five guideline layers,namely,creating suitable site space,enhancing multifaceted sensory experience,improving the quality of service facilities,planning reasonable road traffic and optimizing landscape environment in five aspects.We also take Dongyuan Park and Wuji Park as examples for specific planning and design,and optimize the two parks in three aspects of site function,road traffic and landscape nodes.It is expected that the study will improve the quality of life and physical and mental health of urban residents and provide reference for the development of rehabilitative landscape in urban parks.
