| With the progress of the national economy,the increase of leisure time,the gradual expansion of cities,and the gradual improvement of transportation systems,suburban forest parks have become increasingly popular destinations for people’s recreation due to their unique natural resources and rich recreational activities.At the same time,higher requirements have been put forward for the current status of recreational spaces in forest parks.This article is based on the theory of recreation to study the construction of the recreational space system and the improvement of the quality of recreational space in forest parks in the main urban area of Chongqing,and to explore the optimization of recreational space.This article selects 17 forest parks at or above the city level in the main urban area of Chongqing based on the resource level,population quantity and satisfaction,spatial location distance,and natural resource conditions of forest parks.Geleshan Forest Park,Tieshanping Forest Park,and Yufengshan Forest Park are selected as typical research objects.Based on the theory of recreation,the recreation system of forest parks is divided into functional types,spatial structures,and spatial quantities for research.Based on the functional classification of forest parks,the recreational space of forest parks is divided into activity oriented recreational spaces,connected recreational spaces,and natural resource oriented recreational spaces.On this basis,through image recognition technology,literature retrieval,field research,and spatial syntax,the recreational space system and quality of various types of recreational spaces in forest parks are studied,and optimization strategies for improvement are summarized.At the level of recreational space system,first conduct on-site research on the recreational space system and various types of recreational spaces in typical forest parks,and analyze their usage based on image recognition technology.Afterwards,a recreational space efficiency map was obtained by integrating the population distribution and the area of various types of recreational spaces.Comparing the functional types of recreational systems and the efficiency map of recreational spaces,the conclusion is that differentiated activities promote efficient recreational functional types,while homogeneous activities provide the basic functions of forest parks.Comparing the spatial structure of the recreational system with the efficiency map of the recreational space,the conclusion is as follows:(1)The spatial structure of the main road forming a ring can improve the spatial efficiency value;(2)The circular structure of the secondary road can improve the spatial efficiency value.Comparing the spatial quantity and distribution of the recreational system with the efficiency map of the recreational space,the conclusion is that the recreational space of scenic spots can greatly increase the spatial efficiency value.In terms of the quality of recreational spaces,image recognition technology is first used to screen for efficient and inefficient recreational spaces for each specific activity oriented and connected recreational space.Then,combined with image recognition technology and on-site spatial research,the constituent elements and important attributes of recreational spaces were compared with efficient and inefficient recreational spaces.The conclusion is that:(1)the distribution of natural recreational spaces with small and more distribution and fewer activity types has high spatial efficiency values;(2)Humanistic recreational spaces with rich types of facilities and low spatial closure have high spatial efficiency values;(3)The recreational space of scenic spots has historical value,bright colors,and beautiful forms,with high spatial efficiency value.Starting from the preference for landscape resources,natural resource oriented recreational spaces are divided into distant,mid range,and close range photos through image recognition technology.The research on preferences for natural resource types,forest types,and ornamental types concludes that:(1)the highest degree of preference for natural resource types is plant resource landscapes,followed by architectural resource landscapes and hydrological resource landscapes.(2)The broad-leaved forest has the highest preference for forest type.(3)The highest preference for ornamental types is flowers,followed by fruits and leaves.Based on research at the level of recreational systems,optimization strategies are proposed:(1)functional type optimization strategies: ensuring basic activity functions;Utilize unique recreational functions;Reasonably layout the functional system.(2)Spatial structure optimization strategy: establishing a circular traffic system on the main road;Balance the relationship between resource protection and landscape appreciation on secondary roads.(3)Optimization strategy for spatial quantity: increase the number of recreational spaces in scenic spots;Balance the number of recreational spaces for humanistic activities.Based on the research on the quality of recreational spaces,optimization strategies are proposed:(1)optimization strategies for activity oriented recreational spaces: creating with the goal of natural experience;Create from both spatial creation and facility functionality;Create a complete set of scenic and recreational spaces with a complete image.(2)Optimization strategy of connected recreation space: create a main road with efficient connected sum and beautiful landscape;Create a secondary path to fully experience natural resources.(3)The principles for the protection and utilization of natural resource oriented recreational spaces: respecting nature and prioritizing protection;Putting people first and valuing harmony;Reasonable layout and adaptation to local conditions;Overall planning and coordinated development;Ecological restoration and harmonious coexistence.Finally,taking the Geleshan Forest Park in Chongqing as an example,the recreational space system and recreational space quality plan are designed. |
