A Study On The Design Of Revitalization Of Changchun’s Commercial Port Area From The Perspective Of "Urban Acupuncture"

At present,China’s urban development has changed from urban expansion to urban regeneration.With the gradual saturation of urban development space and the gradual reduction of available construction land,the trend of urban regeneration is slowly overtaking the trend of urban expansion.As a collection of historical buildings and culture,the historical and cultural districts are important areas for urban renewal.Although the "demolition and construction" mode of regeneration eliminates the trend of physical decay,the historical buildings will also be damaged or disappear,and their characteristic historical culture and historical value will disappear from people’s view along with the collapsed walls and scattered bricks.In the face of the destructive effects of the "demolition and construction" model of regeneration on historical and cultural districts,and the erosion of historical landscapes and buildings,"urban acupuncture",a small-scale,small-scale approach to regeneration,is receiving more and more attention.The theory of "urban acupuncture" focuses on improving the physical environment,continuing the historical heritage,and stimulating the vitality of the streets,and by analysing the current situation of the neighbourhood,and through small-scale and precise interventions,selecting the appropriate acupuncture points to take acupuncture measures,the "urban acupuncture" theory can ultimately be used in the revitalisation of the historical and cultural neighbourhoods.The theory of "urban acupuncture" can better play its precise and flexible characteristics and protect the integrity of historical buildings.This paper takes the traditional commercial axis of Damaji Road in Changchun’s commercial district as the object of practical research,and examines the strategies and methods for the revitalisation of Changchun’s commercial district from the perspective of "urban acupuncture".Following the viewpoint of "urban acupuncture" theory,two historical buildings,Yongchun Road and Taifahe Department Store Building,are selected for renovation,using the historical buildings as acupuncture points to stimulate the surrounding environment and rejuvenate it.Using the road traffic system of the commercial area as a meridian,the meridians are unblocked,the accessibility and convenience of the roads are improved,and additional roads are added to form a grid-like road traffic system.Improving the overall street environment of the district and eliminating the sense of dilapidation of the historical and cultural district.Build on the unique cultural resources of the area and establish special cultural events to bring back the cultural connotations of the century-old area.Through the above means,the vitality of the Shambuddi will be enhanced,the Shambuddi economy will be revitalised and the Shambuddi will become the new cultural calling card of Changchun.
