At present,the economy of Shenyang city is in rapid growth.In this context,the phenomenon of disorderly urban expansion is increasingly serious.How to reasonably control land resources and protect the only land resources has become an urgent problem for Shenyang City to solve.Therefore,studying the demarcation of Shenyang’s urban growth boundary has become an important content to clarify the essence of Shenyang’s urban expansion and control its urban sprawl.In this study,by Markov model and Future Land Use Simulation model,the demarcation of Shenyang city’s urban growth boundary is deeply analyzed,in order to provide theoretical reference for Shenyang city’s urban growth boundary planning and management.Taking Shenyang as the research object,based on Landsat remote sensing image data,the land use data of Shenyang in 2000,2010 and 2020 were obtained,the area of each land type was counted,and the dynamic attitude of land use and land use transfer matrix were combined to analyze the land use change in Shenyang.The change of land use landscape pattern was analyzed by analyzing and calculating patch scale,type scale and landscape scale.At the same time,DEM data,urban POI point data,traffic network data,ecological protection area data and basic farmland protection area data were taken as driving factors.Through Markov-FLUS model,open and close operation of expansion corrosion algorithm was applied.Define the rigid and elastic growth boundary of Shenyang city.The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)Land use in Shenyang is mainly cultivated land and construction land,accounting for nearly 88% of the total area of the study area.Cultivated land is the main type of land use in Shenyang.By 2020,cultivated land area accounts for more than 73.89% of the total area of the study area.The conversion of land use types in Shenyang is relatively drastic,among which the conversion of land use types is mainly from cultivated land to construction land.From the perspective of landscape science,six landscape index indexes are selected to analyze the change of landscape pattern in Shenyang City.The results show that during 2000-2020,the area of construction land in Shenyang increases,the degree of fragmentation increases,the phenomenon of urban expansion is incomplete and inadequate,and human social and economic activities have a great impact on the natural environment,and the ecological environment is no longer as before.(2)Based on the land use data of Shenyang in 2000 and 2010,the simulated land use distribution of Shenyang in 2020 was compared with the actual land use distribution of Shenyang in 2020 by Markov-FLUS model,and the kappa coefficient was 0.804012,the overall accuracy was 0.90329,and the simulation accuracy was high.It shows that Markov-FLUS model is suitable for simulating land use change in Shenyang City.(3)The rigid urban growth boundary area of Shenyang accounts for 47.85% of the total area of Shenyang.Among the counties and cities,the rigid areas are mainly distributed in Faku County,accounting for more than 25.72% of the total area of rigid areas,while the rigid areas in Tiexi District account for less than 0.01%.The elastic growth boundary area of Shenyang accounts for less than 17.29% of the total area of Shenyang,and the elastic area is relatively concentrated in the central urban area of Shenyang and the city(county)centers of Liaozhong City,Xinmin City,Faku County and Kangping County,and the rest locations are loosely distributed.
