In the construction of residential areas,water is the most vital and energetic element,which can not only act as the main body of the landscape,but also create a comfortable and beautiful environment together with surrounding structures and plants.People are born with the characteristics of being happy with water and being hydrophilic.With the development of the times,people also put forward higher safety requirements for the waterscape in the living environment.The rising waterscape safety accidents have seriously affected people’s quality of life,causing residents to have negative emotions such as resistance and fear to waterscape,making them lose their original vitality.Therefore,it is of great significance to improve the security of waterscape in residential areas.In this paper,the waterscape of urban residential area is taken as the research object,and the safety of waterscape,an important outdoor space environment,is studied.Through questionnaire survey and on-the-spot investigation in four areas,namely Honggutan District,Xihu District,donghu district and qingyunpu district,taking the waterscape of 19 residential areas voted by its residents as the representative,this paper understands the basic composition of waterscape and users,analyzes the relevant safety factors that affect waterscape according to the residents’ safety evaluation of waterscape,and constructs the waterscape safety evaluation system of urban residential areas,with a view to providing theoretical support and reference significance for creating a safe waterscape of urban residential areas.Through literature review,field investigation and fishbone diagram,the factors affecting waterscape safety are analyzed,and experts in landscape architecture are invited to screen the factors,and four criteria layers are constructed,including water safety,waterfront safety,land safety and waterscape tube dimension safety.And six sub-criteria layers: water safety,plant planting safety,revetment safety,road square safety,waterscape safety supervision and waterscape maintenance safety;Water quality,water depth,water pollution,plant selection,plant canopy density,revetment structure,revetment materials,revetment protection,layout form,pavement smoothness,paving design,dry fountain,night lighting facilities,landscape facilities,public security patrol,warning signs,monitoring equipment,water facilities arrangement,water emergency facilities,water repair,site maintenance and other 21 indicators.The evaluation index system is used to evaluate the waterscape of six residential areas with complete waterscape system in the form of questionnaire,and the structural equation model is constructed by using SPSS26.0 to analyze the questionnaire data and AMOS26.0 software,and finally the waterscape safety evaluation system of urban residential areas is completed.According to the built years of residential areas and the typicality of waterscape types,Nanchang Wanda Xingcheng West District,Shanglin Spring Garden and Lantian County are selected as empirical application objects,and their safety evaluation and analysis are carried out by using expert evaluation method and mass evaluation method.The calculation results show that the final score of Wanda Xingcheng West Waterscape is 3.04,and the safety evaluation level is "low";The waterscape scores of Shanglin Spring Garden and Lantian County residential area are 3.64 and 3.99 respectively,and the safety evaluation grade is "average".The evaluation results can objectively reflect the overall security situation of waterscape,indicating that the waterscape security evaluation index system of this residential area is feasible.Following the principles of people-oriented,regional differences,waterscape safety and recycling,this paper puts forward the construction strategy of waterscape safety optimization in Nanchang residential areas and 18 targeted improvement measures,such as water safety,waterfront safety,land safety,other waterscape facilities safety and waterscape management and maintenance safety.
