Research On Public Aesthetics Of Contemporary Urban Pocket Parks

Since the 1950 s,under the background of consumerism and post-industrial society,the public has completed the identity transformation from consumers to connoisseurs and become the aesthetic subject in the new era.At the same time,the great richness of the material level has triggered the spiritual aesthetic demand,and the awakening of the public aesthetic consciousness has put forward higher requirements for the living environment including the public space from the aesthetic level.As a miniature green public space that appeared in this period to solve environmental problems,pocket parks are closely related to human life.People are eager to see the emergence of pocket parks with more aesthetic value.However,in the contemporary society,the construction of public space has not developed in the direction of people’s expectations.Most of the parks constructed in the early stage only bear the basic function of exchange and rest,and do not have too much aesthetic value.It can be said that there are many contradictions between subjective yearning and objective reality.Therefore,the research on the public aesthetics of contemporary urban pocket parks proposed in this paper aims to explore the logical correlation between pocket parks and social public aesthetics,and summarize the public aesthetic space paradigm of pocket parks through analysis and induction,in order to provide theoretical basis and guidance for the creation of contemporary urban pocket park aesthetics.In terms of research methods,this paper adopts the literature method,extensively collects domestic and foreign data related to pocket parks and public aesthetic theories,and sorts out and analyzes the theoretical support of this paper,so as to provide guidance for subsequent research.The second is the interdisciplinary method,which connects the landscape of pocket park in the design field with the public aesthetic in the aesthetic field,attempts to interpret the aesthetic construction of contemporary urban pocket park from the aesthetic perspective,and constructs the connection path between aesthetics and landscape.Finally,case analysis is adopted to collect and interpret the excellent cases of urban pocket parks in China and western countries,so as to prove and deepen the logic system of public aesthetic generation of urban pocket parks and make the paper more rigorous and perfect.In this paper,the scope of the research object is limited to the partial cases in line with the social public aesthetic built by Chinese and western countries since the rise of pocket parks,which is not the overall picture of the development of contemporary urban pocket park creation.In terms of the research content,this paper firstly combs the generation logic of the public aesthetic of contemporary urban pocket parks,and constructs the public aesthetic generation system process of aesthetic demand,aesthetic communality and aesthetic communication with the background of The Times,which lays a theoretical foundation for the article.Secondly,aesthetic communication is divided into three levels: image perception,artistic conception and sense of implication.On this basis,citing a large number of cases and standing from the perspective of the public,aesthetic analysis and interpretation are carried out on the landscape entity with image creation as the first,landscape environment with artistic conception as the core and ideal space with connotation strengthening as the theme in contemporary urban pocket parks.Summarize the law of public aesthetic generation in pocket parks.Through the systematic construction of the logic of public aesthetic generation in contemporary urban pocket parks and the summary of park paradigm,it can be found that the generation and development of public aesthetic and the changes of The Times have always been inseparable.Therefore,we must grasp and analyze the existing situation of the current society as the premise,in order to have a more in-depth and systematic understanding of its generation.In the research,it is also found that the creation of landscape image,artistic conception and strengthening of connotation in the construction of pocket park landscape all provide ideological reference and construction guidance for the creation of pocket park in the aesthetic level.
