Residential Landscape Design Based On Spatial Identity

This residential area aims to establish a livable environment to enhance the well-being and quality of life of its residents.Spatial identity refers to people’s cognition and emotional attachment to the spatial environment,which is an important way to establish connections and interactions between individuals and the social environment.The landscape design of residential areas is people-oriented,ecology-based and culturally-based,and guides residents to establish a healthy,positive and upward attitude towards life by creating a good environmental atmosphere and unique landscape features.This paper takes spatial identity as the main body and residential area as the carrier to explore the spatial identity of residential area landscape design and study the spatial characteristics of residential area landscape.Firstly,in order to reach the goal of the study,we need to have a comprehensive and indepth understanding of the background of the topic,the current situation at home and abroad,and to determine the core content,importance and framework of the study in order to achieve the ultimate goal of the study more effectively.Secondly,by combining theory and practice,as well as field research on local cases,we can derive a series of design categories on the return of spatial identity,so as to distill the strengths and weaknesses of previous residential areas,and optimize and improve them.After an in-depth questionnaire survey,we derived the resonance of people’s sense of identity and provided effective guiding strategies for follow-up work.Finally,we summarize the design principles and design methods of residential areas based on spatial identity,and conclude the design strategies of each element of identity space in residential areas.Guided by theory and practice,by studying the landscape design of the residential area of An Ning Ting Yuan in Jingtai County,Baiyin City,we found that by combining theory and practice,we can better explore the local humanities,geographical features and natural environment,and on this basis,we can carry out the landscape design of the residential area that meets the needs of local people.The establishment of spatial identity requires reasonable planning and design and landscape creation.In the landscape design of residential areas,emphasis should be placed on the integration of humanistic factors and ecological environment,and on the creation of diverse spatial forms and unique landscape elements to stimulate residents’ sense of belonging and identity to the residential environment.At the same time,the design should consider the actual needs of residents and focus on functionality and practicality,such as planning appropriate leisure and recreational facilities,convenient services and convenient transportation networks to improve residents’ quality of life,sense of belonging and happiness.
