With the continuous innovation of space design concepts and the continuous improvement of people’s spiritual and cultural pursuits,the traditional concept of "exhibits" as the main design goal of shaping means can no longer fully meet the needs of current exhibitions.At the same time,under the trigger of the design concept centered on "human experience",the main position of the viewer continues to improve,so that the exhibition space design begins to pay attention to the creation of a sense of space experience.Based on this,this thesis introduces the concept of visual experience,fully discusses the visual experience performance characteristics of spatial audiences from the perspective of visual psychology,and closely focuses on the connection between spatial visual elements and viewers,providing new thinking to enhance the visual experience of viewers in exhibition space.The development of visual experience not only focuses on people’s visual characteristics,but also emphasizes perceptual experience triggered by visual phenomena,which is a phenomenon judgment formed based on thinking ability.In this subject,we first define the concept of visual experience and its occurrence process by combining multiple psychological theories,and make it clear that visual experience is a behavior driven by perceptual activities triggered by "seeing".Then,it analyzes the relationship between visual experience and exhibition space design,and summarizes the necessity of involving the concept of visual experience in exhibition space design.Secondly,this thesis analyzes the performance characteristics of visual experience,proposes to introduce it into the design perspective of exhibition space,and obtains the basis principle of using the concept of visual experience.Then,by comprehensively using methods such as eye tracking technology and data analysis,this thesis explores the influence of display background and display form on viewers’ visual experience,and obtains some new findings,verifying and making up for the subjective and onesided theoretical research.After that,combining the results of theoretical analysis and experimental research,combined with the in-depth analysis of classic cases,focusing on the construction of organizational integrity in the space,visual continuous reflection of streamline,interface graph bottom relationship processing and visual field construction and other aspects of the research,summed up the design methods to enhance the viewer’s visual experience in the exhibition space.Finally,the summarized design techniques are applied to design projects to verify the application value of the concept of visual experience in exhibition space design.In the design and application,the spatial organization and spatial streamline are processed with visual integration and continuity respectively,so that the space overlaps and penetrates,forming a closely connected exhibition space structure.On this basis,combined with the narrative needs of the exhibition,the relationship between the picture and the ground in the form of space interface is deduced,and the specific visual field within the site is created to express the visual experience in the exhibition space.Taking the spatial explicit and recessive characteristics of visual experience as the starting point,supplemented by quantitative research,it is presented in the transformation of exhibition environment,so as to discriminate the perspective of visual experience in exhibition space.Exploring the relationship among theory,experiment and practice provides a new design idea for enhancing the viewer’s sense of space experience in exhibition space design.
