With the continuous development of information technology, the mobileInternet is becoming a new kind of information dissemination. The wholesituation of the media convergence is that traditional media but also by themobile Internet has been a new development. In the reading area, the status ofprint media have a strong impact of digital media. At the mean time, due to thedifficulty is declined in product development, cause a sharp increase inquantity of products. Because of the products’ type is similar, it makes thebrand advantage of digital read product cannot be reflected. Read productcategory APP visual interface design is based on visual aesthetics,performance and functional characteristics of mobile products. It carries outmore easily highlight the designer’s personality, but also to reflect the product’suser habits and the importance of the experience. So the reading APP visualdesign experience is significant on promotion and market positioning,personalized reflection.In this paper, based on iPad device, it explores the direction and principleof reading applications of visual design. It outlines the development process ofmobile reading applications visual design, which also includes the location andthe users’ necessary of read APP. The text content design and visual designelements illustrate two aspects of the overall direction of design and visualexperience objectives; and finally separate from the basic elements of visualexperience design fonts, graphics, colors, layout, dynamic effects and otheraspects of reading applications experience.
