The Impact Of Cross-Border Mergers And Acquisitions On Innovation Quality

Based on the data of China’s A-share listed companies’ cross-border mergers and acquisitions(M&A),operating revenue,R&D investment and number of corporate patents from 2007 to 2019,this paper uses stata15 software to analyze whether cross-border mergers and acquisitions of Chinese enterprises promote the development of corporate innovation quality by multiple regression,and further explores its influence path.The results show that increasing the proportion of R&D investment in revenue of manufacturing enterprises through cross-border mergers and acquisitions can effectively improve the number of patents and achievements of enterprises,and thus promote the development of innovation quality of enterprises.At the same time,the impact of cross-border mergers and acquisitions in manufacturing on innovation quality is significantly higher than that in other industries such as real estate and entertainment.I have divided the article into six parts.The first chapter introduces the background of the topic,the literature research at home and abroad,the paper research content,etc.The second chapter is the research on the status quo of cross-border M&A and technological innovation of Chinese enterprises.The third chapter mainly analyzes the influence mechanism and related factors of cross-border M&A of Chinese enterprises on technological innovation,and puts forward the research hypothesis.The fourth chapter carries on the empirical analysis and test,further studies the effect of cross-border M&A on the quality of technological innovation of enterprises,and studies the influence of R&D absorption and government innovation subsidies on the quality of innovation of enterprises in the process of M&A.The fifth chapter is a case study,which selects cross-border M&A cases to study the impact of cross-border M&A on the quality of technological innovation.The last chapter summarizes the influence of cross-border M&A of Chinese enterprises on the quality of technological innovation and puts forward some suggestions.
